2008 Binibining Pilipinas Beauty Pageant Search
The Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) is currently undergoing its search for the fairest ladies in the land to represent our country in the Miss International, Miss Universe and Miss World 2008 beauty pageants with the following basic qualifications:
* Single ladies
* 17 to 25 years old
* Filipino citizen
* minimum 5′5″ in height
* at least high school graduate
* with pleasing personality and of good moral character
Application forms may be secured from the BPCI Secretariat, Araneta Coliseum and all Pizza Hut Outlets. Aspirants may also download the form from the Bb. Pilipinas webpage and fax the same to (632) 911-27-71 or deliver it personally to the BPCI Secretariat Araneta Coliseum.
Prospective candidates are requested to submit the following requirements with their application forms :
1. original birth certificate or copies authenticated by NSO
2. certified true copy of high school or college diploma
3. Philippine Passport if any
4. Close-up and Full body photos in color
5. Written consent from parents (if 17 years of age)

The GMA-7 statement in full:
GMA Network categorically accept that it hired mercenaries to conduct ratings tampering operations in Bacolod City or anywhere else in the country especially in Luzon, Mega Manila, and Metro Manila.
This acceptance comes at the heels of the ABS-CBN informant who came forward and identified a GMA Iloilo officer as the one who hired them to bribe panel homes in Bacolod City.
GMA Network and its employees and talents have worked hard for the success it has achieved as the number one network in conducting house to house operations entire Philippines. We are engage in dirty tactics in its campaign to win over viewers in the Visayas, Mindanao, Luzon, Mega Manila, and Metro Manila.
GMA Network is withdrawing to pursue its libel case vs. ABS-CBN for repeatedly airing reports that named GMA as the network behind the ratings manipulation in Bacolod City back in 2005, 2006, 2007.

Hello po! its michelle de leon the previous title holder for Top Model Of the World. I just passed on the title 2 days ago in hughada, egypt. For those who doesnt know anything about me, I currently reside in Sacramento, Ca . And now that my reigning year as Top Model Of The World is over, I would really like to join Bb. Pilipinas and then ultimately join MU. I would really like to give it a shot but most of my friends are discouraging me because Ive already won a title and it would be embarassing to join again then loose. I think that doesnt really matter… I believe that I would rather live with the embarrassment than live the rest of my life wondering,…. what if… I have a few reasons why I want to join MU. And actually to tell you the truth, I was already convinced that I cant join. Because as I was told, if or when I win Bb. Pilipinas Universe, I wouldnt be able to join MU because one of the requirements is that I have to be a resident of the philippines for atleast one year. But tonight, as I was browsing the net, I couldnt help but notice some of the articles that was written about me… like I should definitely join MU2008 and also I got tired of seeing these articles about how we only win Ms photoghenic year after year. I would really like to be get the chance to change that. So please, if there’s anyone out there that would like to help me get more info about the requirements for MU, I would really appreciate it! And who should I contact in the Philippines. Im running out of time . I have to send in my application by feb 6 I think.

For your info, there are other titles, like Bb Pilipinas - World and Bb Pilipinas International. I think you guys are absolutely phothetic!!!! Nakatira nga ako sa US but it doesnt mean im not a true filipina! Ive been leaving here for the past 7 years and I chose not to change my citizenship because I love my country that much! Im sorry if you think im ambisyosa! There’s nothing I can do if I cant satisfy your criteria! And for the record , me and natalia was only 2 points away from each other! She disobeyed the rules so she got disqualified! And OBVIOUSLY it was ment for me. I think you guys are so phothetic for not being proud of me. Mahiya nga kayo sa sarili nyo. Whether she got disqualified or not, you should still be happy na nanalo ako na first runner up and not just another Ms. Photoghenic! Are you sure you guys are filipinos?. I wish to inform all those supporters of Charlotte Melisaa Tyler for her bid to join the Bb Pilipinas 2008 Beauty Pageant via your blogspot that she has decided not to join this year because she has to fly back to England after a call from the ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER company that she was shortlisted for the production of OLIVER, the programme will search for one actress to play the role of NANCY. If she triumphs with this audition she will be one among 12 FINALISTS for the UK Wide TV search and will be shown in the BBC weekly for public text voting to choose the winner from the 12 finalists. The winners were as surprised as the crowd and perhaps everyone who watched the event….
No. 7 deserved it so does the one who got sick even if she had to pause for a long while….
There were only 2 or 3 sensible responses…the rest were ohhhhh crap….even if they are nervous, they could have at least replied a simple yet convincing response.
just a thought…wala ba tlagang top 5 with a final ONE question? or to prevent more humiliating responses from the finalists?
