3rd World Pyro Olympics 2008 - SM Mall of Asia
The World Pyro Olympics (WPO), the annual gathering of the world’s best fireworks craftsmen to brighten up in dazzling colors and patterns the warm summer skies of Manila started Saturday at the SM Mall of Asia.
The show started 6PM, which pitted Germany and China against each other in a battle of fireworks display. The show will continue for three more Saturdays. According to news reports, 6 countries will participate in this year’s Olympics. The Philippines as the host country will only showcase fireworks as a guest (exhibition).

sequels of this event shoud be held in other countries… philippines is polluted enough…

There are many reasons why it should rotate, but the Philippines is using it as a tourist attraction.
Also, we have the cheapest Pyro competition entrance in the world :p

fireworks smoke is not harmful to our environment… mga 5% lng ito… Mas malakas pa ang isang Stick ng Yosi compare sa pagputok ng isang 3inch na shells ng pyrotechnics…

@knicer yep that’s true. 1 stick of cigarette pollutes more than fireworks.
Now multiply it exponentially….. Smoking is Dangerous to Our Earth.

pero siguro mas maganda kung makapagdedevice sila ng fireworks na almost 0% ang harmful effects sa environment….
