ABS-CBN denies “Twilight” movie remake

ABS-CBN said there is no truth to the rumor that they are doing a local version of the hit novel and movie “Twilight”.
Last week, abs-cbnnews.com did a story on a report about the adaptation but according to ABS-CBN Corporate Communications’ Bong Osorio “There is no truth to the Web reports, particularly in the Perez Hilton blogsite, that ABS-CBN is doing a local adaptation of “Twilight.” ABS-CBN will be the first to announce if it is, in fact doing so.”
The news had caused worldwide upheaval as “Twilighters” all over the world were outraged by the plan of a Filipino version.
