Alcano wins 2006 World Pool Championship

Ronato Alcano showed the world that the Philippines is still a force to be reckoned with in the sport of Pool.


He beat German Ralf Souquet in a race to 17, 17-11. He also took home the $100,000 cash prize. Souquet on the other hand, took home $40,000.
