Angel Locsin as Marimar – GMA 7

GMA 7 has secured the rights to produce the local adaptation of the hit telenovela Marimar.
Angel Locsin is said to play the role of Marimar who was played by Mexican superstar Thalia in 1994. On the other hand, the role of Sergio originally played by Eduardo Capetillo went to Dingdong Dantes.
