Apple Abarquez leaves Pinoy Dream Academy
18-year-old Apple Abarquez of Cebu got the boot from Pinoy Dream Academy season 2 after she got the lowest percentage of votes from the show’s avid viewers.
Apple got 13.30%, Miguel with 13.96%, and Laarni with a whopping 72.74% of the total votes.

I like the performance of LAARNI sa lahat tlga!! nasa kanya na yung pinakamahirap na kanta, eh pandalawan o tatluhan ang kanta na yun ni Laarni, grabe naman si Direk Joey sya yung pumili ng kanta eh, pinapahirapan nyo ba tlga si Laarni dhil sya lang ang nakikita kong makakatunggali ni Bugoy at Poy?
Yung kanta ni Liezl simple lang pero may sabit din pati yung ki Poy pero top sila, bakit yung ki Laarni di nila consider na pinkamahirap naman sa laht? naku si Judge Louie may pabor na ki Liezl halata na namin!!
Naku si Gerard naman kasi wla doon…

I like Gerard more as judge at least nakikita ni Gerard kung may dapat siyang sabihin sa scholar, unlike Louie parang pabor lang ki Liezl, may mali na nga ok pa rin?

I wsh the mentors are really equipped to give the appropriate sngs for the scholars for them to shine. kaya lang nilang magcomment after the gala performance na ng di kasi bagay ung kanta”….they are poor enough not to realiize it early on paramapalitan sana……
Just the same…..I am hoping that Laarm will succeed in her quest for the top. I’ll be supporting you Laarni. I won’t allow bunch of not so objective masters ruin a gem. Gosh so it is apple who was chopped off the competition…..they should have eliminated the poorest of the group……..

nakita ko plang mga videos ni Laarni sa Youtube, ang galing pla nya tlga kahit wla sya sa PDA, in fairness tlga ki Laarni na-OP siya sa loob dati kaya naloka, pero nakabalik naman sa normal at least, pero i think sya ang pupwedeng manalo kesa ki Liezl arte nya pla ahh para basahan lang..

Talagang halata na favorite ng mentors at judges si Zel. Magkamali man sya pa rin ang magaling. Ngayon palang alam na na siya ang winner. Tapusin nalang kaya ngayon plang ang palabas. Sayang ang talent ni Laarni, hindi napapansin. Of all the dreamers she is the best. Pero it’s sad to admit that the mentors and judges don’t like her, so her talent don’t really matter to them. Yun un failure ng mga mentors, they view Laarni based on the bad attitude she showed in the past. Kahit okey na ang pinapakita niya she still can’t get them notice her. To be honest pa walang katalent-talent ang karamihan sa PDA. Boses palaka na andun pa. May mga walang kakwenta-kwentang kumanta magaling pa sa pandinig ng mentors at ng mga judges. For me si Bugoy, Zel, Miguel at Laarni lang ang may “k” na nandun. Sayang si Poy, now nakita ng mga mentors na mali-mali sila pumili kasi ang ibang nandun di dapat nakapasok.

I can’t wait until juror member na si Gerald Salonga to come back to the seat.
‘yung mga jurors ngayong kinakawawa nila si Laarni no. Favor na favor sila kay Liezl especially si Mr. Loui Ocampo at si ano rin… si Mr. Cayabyab you can tell that they have a favoratism in the academy. So bad and so Sad!

stop hyping liz…she’s playing it safe and you keep on giving her songs catered for her…she’s boring…she’s another jonalyn viray (minus the vocal range) in the making! she will get nowhere

actually i’m a big fan of both laarni and liezel
at oki lang sakin kahit sino sa kanila ang manalo
i must admit that bugoy is the greatest threat for the crown inside the academy
it’s just that he is not that bankable when it comes to look.
and with regards to poy, okay lang na nandun xa sa loob
basta ba di xa magiging star scholar eh…
it’s unfar sa iba sa since the beginning andun…
anyways, tingnan na lang natin in a couple of weeks

sabi nga ni Mr. Louie Ocampo na shouting doesnt mean anything to them… everyone has her/his own bet and favorites but i think the mentors and judges knows better than anyone of us… if you support Laarni then just do give her your text votes so that she’ll stay long in the academy… and with Zel she has the most unique voice and 2nd is Bugoy… si Poy maganda dn quality ng boses nya but common yung mga boses nila… hindi lang naman pataasan ng boses ang basehan dito its about originality…

why is laarni on the probation line up again. and yet they keep on giving her songs which other scholars cant make a difference with when given the chance to sing it. well, it seems like some scholars are given extra favors to their advantage..and should i say there’s favoritism in some ways or another to the judges’ gala scoring last night. Obviously, laarni sang better than Chris, Inaki, and the rest whose not on probation.Like last week, the mentors saved Bunny coz they claimed Bunny improved to certain extent. If laarni wont make it to the top 3 im convinced there’s something goin on. liezel on the other hand have a great voice. but not as versatile as laarni’s. liezel never tried a tagalog piece?..and most of the songs she’s asked to perform are the ones according to her voice range.I just want the academy to be fair on everybody..based on talent…and attitudewise..it’s very obvious that the PDA scholars dont like laarni.coz they know she’s a threat to them.Will laarni be another Charice?..Charice wasnt the big winner..it was Sam Concepcion (?)..and when Charice was seen on the Ellen de Generes Show Kapamilya network paid attention to her.

Wow nakakahiya ang PDA dahil sa inanounce nla nong sunday. I was a mistake daw ang nangyari, Zel was not part of the top three then Cris is # 3. Ano ba sila magdodoktor lang ng result yong di kapani-paniwala pa? Ung cris na un na kapangit-pangit ng boses at nakakapagtaka kung bakit siya nakapasok sa PDA, sya pa itong nakasama sa top three last gala night? Naku nawawalan na ng credibility ang PDA ha? Baka magalit na ang tao sa inyo niyan Ha! One more I overheard Tony talking with the dreamers last night before the show is cut on air that one of the dreamers is automatically expeld for violating a rule? How true kaya un at sino? Kainis nang-abang pa nman ako today pero walang update about PDA.

magaling c laarni,magaling din c zel pero mas gusto ko c zel dahil iba ang voice nya .c laarni madami kapareho ng boses ang dami kaya dito singer na bumubirit pero di masyado sumisikat .for me mas type ko yong song na relaxing kisa doon sa mataas .pagmataas kac d mo alam kong makakaya nya parang pag ikaw na nakikinig parang nakaka presure.

It shows na malakas ang hatak ni Laarni sa audience. Obviously ang taas ng percentage niya. Kahit ayaw sa kanya ng mga co-scholars sa kanya. Audiences are after her talent. But I’ve noticed one thing. May trend na ang PDA dahil mas pinapaboran nila si Liezel. Although iba ang boses ni Liezel in my opinion eh mas malakas ang impact at charisma ni Laarni sa tao. It shows na mas favorite ng mentor at jurors si Liezel compared kay Laarni. Ang hirap kaya ng ginawang performance ni Laarni last Saturday pero still nasama pa siya sa probee list.

PDA talent search is not only for people with great singing prowess but star appeal and star quality. someone that can be a STAR for the likes of Sarah Geronimo and Jay R Siaboc. In my opinion, the scholar that can sing great and has star appeal is Liezel and VAN. but Bugoy will find his part in the show business. Only the three of them will fly but only ONE will soar that is either of the three of them.
my assestment of Laarni, she is very good singer but she is not marketable. she doesn’t have a distinct voice, she doesn’t have the face, and most of all she has a problem in her attitude.

sayang po si laarni kasi pinagkakaisahan sya… halata naman po ung mga jurors… hindi nila gusto ugalin ni laarni pero makikita naman na nagbago na ung tao.. at higit sa lahat deserving syang mapasama sa top3… nakakatamad na tuloy manood ng PDA… isipin nyo po nakapasok si Inyaki?!

could it be na pre - annoucement na yung paglabas ni Liezel and Bugoy sa ASAP..na sila na ang big winners…sana di totoo yung nakakrating na news dito overseas regarding sa di fair na treatment inside the PDA house..wag naman tayong ganyan..i dont usually reply to comments…but this time for certain reasons feel ko lang may nade-dehadong scholars…

Not bcoz Bugoy doesnt have the look of a Hollywood actor that doesnt mean that he wont succeed as a singer…Sarah G doesnt have the star factor nor JR Siaboc when they both joined the respective talent shows they participated into. Leizel is always concious bout her color…and in filipino culture, i guess star quality is like this “mestiza” look. Sarah G is quite mestiza now..(thanks to Belo). U sed Laarni doesnt have the face (or maybe u mean she doesnt have the looks), and Bugoy wont have it easy acheving success, but how sure r u that both Leizel and Van will succeed more than Bugoy…?..
