“Yes may pasok po sa Monday” said Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte via her Twitter account in response to those who were asking if April 30 is a holiday (walang pasok).

A lot of Filipinos were hoping that Labor Day (May 1, Tuesday) will be moved to April 30, for a long weekend as its previously done during the Arroyo administration.
Under PGMA, holidays were often moved to Mondays or Fridays for the so-called holiday economics policy. It aims to encourage domestic tourism and give employees long weekends.
The practice was stopped when Aquino became President.
