Arnel Pineda to sing National Anthem at Pacquiao-Clottey fight

Journey lead singer Arnel Pineda will sing the Philippine national anthem (Lupang Hinirang) in the fight between Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao and Ghanaian Joshua Clottey on March 13 (March 14 in Manila), at the Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
According to Pineda, it was Pacquiao who invited him to sing in his upcoming fight. “I’m really happy kasi matutuloy na dahil nahihiya na ako kay Manny kasi pangatlong invitation na ito sa akin. Baka kasi isipin ay iniisnab ko.” he reportedly said.
