bohol is as gorgeous as boracay and people are way friendlier. we need to ramp up the promotion for other destinations. sayang naman ang ganda pa naman ng pinas!!!!!

we studied this in our mba and it is really sad to note that even in that category, the philippines cant compete or lacks competitiveness in gaining tourists. hoping that things will turn around come 2010

I went to Bohol last summer and it was pleasant. It’s not all the glitz but friendly people and nice destination spots are warm and beautiful. I love the beaches in Bohol. It has whiter sand and it is very fine. Bohol’s pristine beaches are much better than at Boracay’s which is dull, dirty and crowded. Chocolate Hills is a must-see view though. So many hills makes me dither.

I encourage all of you to come to Bohol and explore.

living in Dumaguete makes a trip to Bohol easy. I was a couple of times there and think its a great Island. But very far from being a top 10 spot. but the same counts to me for Boracay. I dont see anythingworth going there. overpriced, same beach as in 100 different destinations, korean overcrowded from dec-april, rest of the year a lot of problem with algeas…

there are much better places in thei lovely country

what happened to beijing or shanghai or tokyo or kyoto or macau? may not be the cheapest places (quite the contrary…) but perfect for a luxuy vacation
