August 20, 21, 27, 2012 Holiday – Philippines

Malacañang announced that August 20, Monday and August 21, Tuesday are holidays.

As per Proclamation No. 455, s. 2012, August 20 (Monday), was declared a holiday in observance of the Eid’l Fitr (End of Ramadan). August 21, Teusday was proclaimed as a non-working holiday in celebration of the Ninoy Aquino Day.

Moreso, the following Monday, August 27, is another regular holiday in commemoration of the National Heroes Day.
