The witness on the alleged tampering of panel homes in Bacolod has finally decided to reveal his identity on camera and agreed to be interviewed without the silhouette and voice distortion that marked his first video appearance last December 2007.

Bacolod witness Mark Dumago

Mark Dumago first approached ABS-CBN in December to report the existence of the scam. During interviews, he gave his statement on camera but with his face hidden in shadow. Sticking to his initial testimony and statement submitted to the court, he remains resolute that there was indeed an irregularity in the data produced by AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines in its television ratings survey in Bacolod. According to Dumago, the manipulation of ratings results was achieved by seeking out and then bribing households included in AGB-Nielsen panel homes.
