Bagong Banda Awit ni Sampaguita
Ballyhoo Records just released a tribute album for Filipino rock icon Sampaguita.
Titled Bagong Banda Awit ni Sampaguita, its bannered by some of the promising rock bands of this generation: Sugar Hiccup, Paramita, The Amandas, Childstar (formerly known as Perimallows), Rocka-by, Zelle, Paraluman, Lokal, Chubibo, Cherrycornflakes, Fuseboxx, and Session Road. The tribute album is made up of 12 tracks: “Tao,” “Bonggahan,” “Babalik Sa’Yo,” “Laguna,” “Sayawan,” “Sa Diyos Lamang,” “Ikaw Pa Rin,” “Mahilig,”"Easy Pare,” “Sayang ang Oras,” “Kumadre,” and “Nosi Bala Si.” Bagong Banda Awit ni Sampaguita is available through record stores, and for download online at www.digijooze.com.
