Binibining Pilipinas 2009 Beauty Pageant Search
The Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI), a non-stock, non-profit organization is currently undergoing its search for the fairest ladies to represent our country in the Miss International, Miss World, and Miss Universe 2009 beauty pageants with the following basic qualifications:
* Single ladies
* 17 to 25 years old
* Filipino citizen
* minimum 5′5″ in height
* at least high school graduate
* with pleasing personality and of good moral character
Application forms may be secured from the BPCI Secretariat, Araneta Coliseum and all Pizza Hut Outlets. Aspirants may also download the form from the Bb. Pilipinas webpage and fax the same to (632) 911-27-71 or deliver it personally to the BPCI Secretariat Araneta Coliseum.
Prospective candidates are requested to submit the following requirements with their application forms :
1. original birth certificate or copies authenticated by NSO
2. certified true copy of high school or college diploma
3. Philippine Passport if any
4. Close-up and Full body photos in color
5. Written consent from parents (if 17 years of age)

Hay Naku! Binibining Pilipinas season na naman! Puede ba piliin naman ninyo ng mabuti yung mga mananalo. Yung mga bb pilipinas na nanalo nung 2007 and 2008 eh nilampaso sa pandaigdigan kagandahan..kasi puro mukhang katuray yung mga nanalo at ang papangit talaga..gusto kong manalo sa bb pilipinas eh yung may ibubuga at ang beauty ay yung hindi pangkaraniwan….yung “unique” ang dating sa mga tao..ang kaso puro ordinaryong pinay beauty ang mga nanalo kaya tuloy “bokya” sa mga international beauty contest.

What are the requirements in the Bb Pilipinas 2009? If a candidate has dual citizenship and a daughter of a Pilipino and another foereign national and was born outside the Philippines…can she be allowed to apply for the contest?

sana bago ang presentation mismo, i-train muna maigi mga contestants sa pagsasalita para hindi sablay. (tagalog kung tagalog, english kung english) kasi kakahiya diba.

dapat hindi yung mga past winners ng bb pilipinas na wala man lang pwesto sa international pageants ang nagsicreen sa kanila(like giona cabrera,karen loren agustin etc). dapat yung mga past miss universe and past miss international 6 silang lahat plus mirriam quiambao, ruffa guttierez, ma faye yunon, karla bautista, yung nagsesreen sa mga aspiring candidates. hmmmm sana ngayobg taon kahit top 15 lang makapasok kandidata natin sa miss universe kasi ngayong taon mag iisang dekada ng bokya ang pilipinas sa miss universe semi finals.

Hi everyone, my name is “Mypamily Omygad” Actually, I am a clone of Janina San Miguel..remember her famous answer in the Bb Pilipinas 2008 contest? Yes, yes, yes I know you remember the famous reply! Well, this year, I would like to participate in the Bb Pilipinas 2009 that is if the BPCI stop hiring those stupid judges last year, OMIGOSH!! I do not know exactly what they were looking for beauty winners because all of those winners they picked last year were actually losers and those who did not not win a place last year became winners, for example…Miss Earth 2009 winner Karla Henry. Ano ba? May mga mata ba at “brain” yan mga judges sa Bb Pilipinas 2009? Baka mga corrupt yan mga yan! Ever since na naririnig ko ang prestigious beauty pageant in the country lagi na lang akong malungkot kasi gusto ko rin na sumali…but the problem is wala akong sponsour..this is my dream to become Bb. Pilipinas and to become Ms. Universe…sana ako na nga..kung may opportunity lang ako…on this program..I will join the competion at sisiguraduhin ko na ako ang mananalo..specialy sa Miss Universe,lalampasuhin ko ang ganda ng mga foreigner…

I like the organizers to select those beauties which are ready enough… yung hindi na kailangan ipadala sa Venezuela for a quickie modelling course… kailangan marunong na… MEdyo taasan sana ang standard… 1994 is great for Bb. Pilipinas… all the girls were chosen as one of the top contestants… kahit hindi sila nanalo… and look at Charlene… judges discretion and stiff competition lang talaga… pero in the hearts of Pinoys and several people all over the world thinks she deserves to be in the top 3..
Miriam Quiambao is an example… maraming baong guts… Precious Lara Quigaman… well prepared… and truly deserving…
Kapag maganda talaga kaso hindi pa hinog for an international fight… eh i training muna… over years… mindset and confidence…. na dedevelop yan… pero hindi palagi pwd i rush…
at sana ang mga height ng kasali totoo… kung pwd lang height nila Ruffa, Charlene ang minimum…

nasa youtube na ang candidate ng venezuela,colombia and other winners ng other countries sa mga international pageant this year.so very simple,the next Bb.Pilipinaas should be the girl na pwedeng kumabog sa mga beauty pageant diva ng mga bansang ito.calling this years Bb.pilipinas Judges to open their computer para alam nila kung sino ang dapat nilang ipanalo.

I think our bets, Stephanie Rose Senires and Priscilla Mae Honorio, hold a lot of promise to wearing the BB Pilipinas crown back home to Cebu. Stephanie is endowed with an X-factor only beauty experts can read; boy, she’s got the smarts, too. At any rate, it looks like Mae is not going to have a hard time advancing in the finalists’ slot because she’s got that distinct Filipina countenance that can make the judges think of picking her out to represent our country. To think that both have had an experience in Miss Cebu, it will not be that difficult to find confidence in their performance over there in the national level. What with the fact that Miss Cebu alumni (winners and non-winners) are known to have been prepped up with all the pre-pageant activities and the training, and the high energy during the pageant where the girls are asked on-the-spot no-nonsense questions, and the spectators will always expect a Miss Cebu entrant to both be articulate and stand her ground with grace under pressure. Hence, I guess Stephanie and Mae are not going to have a hard time at the Araneta Coliseum come the 2009 BB Pilipinas coronation night.

better find another gloria diaz, margie moran, miriam quiambao, evangeline pascual, precious lara quigaman and melanie marquez to win the crown… ok? i challenge u…we don’t need a very beautiful lady to win the crown. exotic beauty will do and BIG BRAINS AND BRAIN CELLS is a plus factor… i’m looking forward to see a talk, dark(morena) lady and i bet she will bring home the crown for the international pageant… KEMBOT AW!!!

Bb.pilipinas and other beauty pageant around the world…does it really have to go on the physical appearance or the inside?.beauty&brains as i understand the word itself .beauty ,the one who posseses a good heart ,who can see and understands the needs of her fellow countrymen especially the less fortunate.Reaching out then i guess it`LL comes the Brain,seeing and understanding people`s needs physically and mentally,then she can give or contribute ideas for the better future of tomorrow…Bb.Pilipinas the title itself,being a Role Model is not that easy,but if you believe in yourself ,and theres a love in your heart for the country and for the people i do believe that you`ll go places with flying colors:)goodluck2all&GodBless…

hello po… ang suggestion ko personally na magkaroon ng adjustment sa binbining pilipinas just like other national pageants ng ibang bansa… 1 year in the making bago ipadala so i wud suggest, winners of bb pilipinas 2009 should compete in their respective major pageants sa 2010… ipadala muna sila sa rigid training both here and abroad… tpos bigyan sila ng mga minor international pageant assignments this year for exposure…
but this doesn’t mean na wala tayong ipapadala for this year… i would strongly suggest the following:
Miss International –> Danielle Castano (good choice siya though di pasok sa miss world semifinals… naka pasok siya as semi finals sa 2 fast track competitions)
Miss World –> Anna Theresa Licaros (malaki na improvement niya sa catwalk, maganda nman siya and matalino) … i think yung tipo nya ang hinahanap sa miss world
Miss Universe –> Margaret Wilson… parehas na parehas sila ng fate ni danielle castano i guess with her bubbly personalit mapapansin siya (basta maayos ung angles niya on pic and video
Remember na ang naging issue natin for the past 10 years is not the Q&A, swimsuit at catwalk kundi ang masyadong simpleng gown na ipinapasuot sa kanila… oo nga its not the gown but the one who carries it pero we have to consider na elegance of the contestant + magandang gown is still the best (i miss the likes ng evening gowns ni miriam quiambao and mafae yunon) check nyo pa tlgang may dating… for 2009 i think rich asuncion will be a good pick tignan lng natin sa Q&A

by the way the gowns are made by colombians… i know madam araneta is a colmbian pero the winners will be representing Philippines. We have lots of talented and creative fashion designers na pwedeng bigyan ng assignments for this job… ang ganda nung wedding gown ni marimar (Marian Rivera) diba? Why not pick Rajo Laurel and others? even ung Pinay US-based designer na si Monique Lhuiller… Regine Tolentino maganda ring magdesign ng damit, malinis tignan :)

actually … it doesnt matter if u are so stunningly beautiful … ang important may point ang sagot sa question and answer…and theres no right or wrong na sagot sa q&a sa bb.pilipinas… coz the point is they are just asking for the candidates opinion or idea on a certain situation …
and lahat ng na ssscreen sa bb.pilipinas are really beautiful smart and intelligent sometimes mejo palakasan lang …
and actually f.y.i lang …
walang edge sa ms.universe kapag hnd ka ng enroll sa quickie training sa venezuela for modeling … coz all of the former bb.pilipinas who enrolled in the said modeling agency in valenzuela …they won a title … like meriam quiambao, ….SAME AS THE OTHER MS,UNIVERSE TITLIST(FORMERS)
and it doesnt mean that if you are towering height u can win a title sa international pageant…nsa apeaL and support yan ng mga sponsors ng bb.pilipinas….
and maybe the reason wny they pick designers from other countries such as columbia …pra magka edge un country natin dba…coz they wanna make some name out of our candidates.. esp. un mananalo … colujmbia lage nakakapasok sa top 10 ot top 5..sa ms.universe… so baka may reason why they pick columbian designers
and we cant really tell guys now a days which genuine esp sa body parts such as eyes nose and tits… i mean its modern beauties that we are looking at … and we may never no … na those beauty queens from other countries do some jobs for their beauties….
if they can enhance it why not? we should be happy for our fellow filipina beauties… we should not envy or be angry for their achievements…like rich assuncion..we all know that when she entered show business she is already a beauty queen…. being a beauty queen helped her to be confident enough to be one of the avengers dba? so now nsa bb.pilipinas sia we should be happy right? because she is really a beauty..
and to all naman na critics lan g ang ginagawa sa mga sumali sa bb.pilipinas…..
hmm thats ur own point of view… we dont question ur beauty or anything….b ut atleast yung nilalait lait nio …. they have the guts to strut theirselves on the stage dba? and they capture the eye of the jurors so there is something different and unique sa kanila….
:) d lahat ng nananalo sa beauty contest sa ms.universe is towering height …. ms.gloria diaz is one good example….she have a simple beauty yet capturing and elegant on stage…. and shes 5`5 in height ……. YET SHE WON THE TITLE :)

hay nako! palakasan talaga jan sa bb pilipinas. si nadia shami na ang kapal kapal ng nguso nanalo di naman maganda. kung laitin si janina about her english akala mo ang galing nya. e numero unong wrong grammar and wrong spelling yan sa mga reports and recitations sa AdDU. what a shame!!

Grabe!!!! ang hirap sa mga pilipino pag dating sa mga beauty contest….kanya kanyang siraan……..manalo lang ang alaga nila…..tulad nyang si april tanhueco,,,,,lahat ng taga binibini gusto at fave cya before,,,ang kaso mo nabaligtad pa si madam stella….the truth is she is the choice of madam unfortunately madam found out so many ugly rumors which eventually has been verified about her which the BPCI cant afford to gamble on her at the time… The contest is not just about beauty or brains….we tend to forget that the winners would eventually carry the prestige and honor of our country so the organizers cant afford such blemished and shame to the organizations.I just hope critics would stop hurling curses and accusations to the organizers as well as to the contestants but rather help in building the integrity of the pageant and of the contestant as well. after all, what we are all after is for the whole country to be known to the whole world.God bless our country.MABUHAY ANG MGA PILIPINO!!!

gud am, gud, pm!!!!… well, unfortunately hindi ako nasatisfied with what I just saw. I was searching for pics of Ms. Philippines at Bahamas and guess what??!! Isang beses ko lang siya nakita.. As in No exposure!!!… And during the surprise interview before the pageant, I saw her laughing out loud… D ba dapat my professionalism??… Dapt confident pero hindi over confident… and sana hindi sumasali mga RETOKADO!!!
