I am a Filipino but working abroad. Who is beautiful and deserving to win should win. English is not our mother tongue, it is very understandable that Filipinas may not be able to express themselves in this media. Filipino people, like you and I, should not laugh at Janina’s inability to speak good English. Americans do not laugh the Filipinos here in the US when they speak with ungrammatical structures of their lines. I think those who are laughing, mocking Janina’s English are the ones who do not know how to speak it. Look at the comments here, a lot of grammatical mistakes.

Ay naku, don’t expect much from the candidates you are rooting for, baka in the end you will be frustrated, Hindi naman ito binabasa ng mga candidates ninyo. All of them are busy rehearsing. Just wait for the coronation night and leave it to the judges. May palakasan? Kailan pa ba wala? Only in thePhilippines….. Let’s just enjoy the show on March 7. What if Rich or Priscilla or Abby won’t win? Mag rally ba kayo? what if they will win, will you be given a slice of their winnings?

i don’t really care if mababasa ‘nya’ 2 o hindi..If mabasa man ‘nya’, then it’s good..if hindi, ok lang din..Well, everybody have their bet, right?..And of course their supportes are not after for the awards, sabi mo nga wala ka rin namang makukuha…and that’s true. It does only mean na kahit anong mangyari; manalo man ‘sya’ o matalo, won’t affect us. And FYI, we’re not trouble makers at lalong di kami aktibista, kaya wala sa isip namin ang mag.rally–A non-sense act for a non-sense reason…And i will surely watch the pageant–as always..

Last night I saw the official candidates of BP on tv. Sa opinyon ko lang naman base sa nakita ng aking mga mata, bakit parang contest yata ito ng mga bading? No offense sa kanila(bading) because they are great people too, pero yong looks at galaw ng mga bagong candidates, parang mga bading talaga at di mga tunay na girls. Look cloely sa looks at galaw nila pero it could be my TV’s fault or my eyes. Inuulit ko opinyon ko lang ito at maaring may magdisagree dito.

I hope that Ms Senires will able to shine in this battle of brain and beauty. I remember how she was able to shine last Ms. Cebu 2006. She deserved the title because she represents the true beauty of being Cebuana. I think that this is the time to explore her being as a Ambassadress of the World or in the Universe. Miss Cebu Pageant is catering right now the world class beauty ” not just beautiful but a lot of brains” as to mention…. Karla Paula Henry, Ms Earth… Carla Bautista Ms World- Asiana, Ana Maris Igpit, Ms World Semi Finalist, Jedda Kiltevitz Mendoza- Ms International Finalist… Watch out for the Misses Cebu in the coming years for Binibining Pilipinas>>>>> The commonalities ….. they are beautiful and a lot of brains…..

April Love Jordan should join again next year. She’s only 20 years old now, and she would still be qualified by then. I’m impressed at her answer to Justice Artemio Panganiban’s question. She has A LOT of potential! Carisheila May Kuijpers should’ve been in the TOP TEN. I hope their trainors would encourage both of them to join again next year.
Marie Ann Umali is a “repeater” – she previously joined Binibining Pilipinas but only ended up as finalist then. I remember she was the one who was asked “How do you define love?” And, she answered, “Love cannot be explained because love should be FIT.” HAHAHA… funny… Now, she actually won one of the major titles and has impoved a bit in the Q and A department. She has great stand-out look, but I think she needs to polish on her communication skills and brush up on her conversational English.
