Boracay back to normal after typhoon Frank

Boracay, the Philippines’ prime tourist destination is back to normal after it sustained minor damages due to typhoon “Frank”, the Department of Tourism said in a statement.

Tourists have started to visit Boracay again. The towns of Kalibo and Caticlan, the two major gateways to Boracay are fast recovering. The DoT also encouraged international travel operators to honor group bookings, adding that all of the island’s travel facilities are operational.
