ABS-CBN’s “Boto Mo iPatrol Mo” news promo won a silver world medal at the New York Festivals held Friday night at the Tribeca Rooftop in Lower Manhattan in New York City.

Henry Omaga Diaz accepted the award for ABS-CBN. The news promo called for public vigilance and an interactive, high-tech solution for safeguarding the ballots during last year’s midterm elections. Two ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs shows were also cited as finalists – “9/11 The Philippine Connection” in the news documentary category and “Exclusibong Explosibong Expose” in the public affairs program category.
