Boxing World Cup 2007 Highlights

The Philippines won over Mexico Saturday, winning five of the six bouts at stake at the Boxing World Cup held at the Arco Arena, Sacramento, California in front of a highly partisan crowd of 4,469 screaming fans for both countries.

With the win, the country solidified its position as the world’s boxing superpower, snatching the title from long-reigning Mexico, which has been a bastion for great boxing talents for several decades.
