CEB rates Ploning “A”, When Love Begins, “B”
Panoramanila Pictures Co.’s Ploning was given an “A” rating by the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) meriting a 100-percent rebate on amusement tax. It is also classified General Patronage by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
Star Cinema and Viva Films’ joint project When Love Begins on the other hand, got a “B” rating by the CEB and is classified PG13 by the MTRCB. It is entitled to a 65-percent tax rebate. The CEB, which operates under the Film Development Council of the Philippines, grants tax rebates to well-crafted local films. Both movies opened in theaters April 30, which signifies pay day, making it the perfect chance for Filipinos to relax and see a movie.

i don’t get it why people are making a big deal out of the same play date… both are obviously good films from very DIFFERENT genres led by talented actors… Judy ann shouldn’t be making a big deal out of it… this is a BUSINESS honey.. but nonetheless her movie looks good and worthwhile.. what matters is that we try to support the ailing Philippine movie industry

i will watch both movies..i want to feel good in WLB and i want to support Judy Anne coz i think maganda naman ang pgkagawa ng ploning…
at least mgkaiba ang genre ng dalawang movies .nakakaumay naman kung pareho..lalo na ang mga ordinaryong viewers na d naman talaga movie critic,mas maganda tong ganito na mgkaiba ang level ng bigat ng eksena sa pelikula….

i already watched when love begins and ploning, WLB was nice and the beach also but its more like of laid back movie that you dont wanna watch over and over again…but it was nice ane was really sexy and beautiful! ploning this one i believe has much nicer values… my opinion only…but star cinema got this one! coz its summer and the people would love to watch relaxing movie rather than crying over a movie…thats it! but ploning is really good…

Mahirap ang buhay ngayon. Come to think of it, what movie would you spend hard-earned money and time watching for? Star Cinema would gamble everything para mapaganda ang movie. Even if I haven’t seen Ploning yet, as most critics say, I think it’s really a good movie - with good values and everything.
Aga-Ann flick is a feel-good movie while Ploning is quite a serious one. It’s indeed that the former would be a crowd’s favorite.

tingnan nu nmn c kc ngyn ang sumisikat at c marian rivera..kya ung mga old like judy ann claudine nasa2pawan kc iba n ngyn generation..kya judy ann wg kn mg tampo..madmi tao ang mhilig s kilig story..

i guess wlb got a 65 rebate, coz it would hit sa market, admit it guys basta star cinema its really patok…becoz in provincial areas people watch movies unlike in manila i believe why everytime star cinema open in theater it lasted for weeks , it means more people patronizes abs cbn stars, although in mega manila gma leads , im sure not all kanguso watch gma films, maybe agb nielsen put their meter for class b and c crowd……in the province its more on for a, b and c, and even a class c in the province has opted to go the cinema just to relax besides its not so magastos , the fare and etc coz the cost of living is cheaper compared in manila……thats why i dont believe agb nielsen is credible to make “ratings”. top endorser star is from abs cbn, the big star is from abs cbn…..what is the truth for the ratings?
