Cesar Montano to host The Singing Bee
Actor Cesar Montano will be the host of the Filipino franchise of “The Singing Bee”.
“The Singing Bee,” a franchise from Zeal Entertainment, is essentially a videoke contest combined with a spelling bee. Contestants are not pressured to sing in tune but have to know the correct lyrics. A live band called the Bandble Bee, headed by Musical Director Mel Villena, plays the tunes that players will sing, while sexy dancers, dubbed as the Honeybees, dance to it. Just like a quiz bee, players will test their knowledge and hurdle several rounds before making it as a Singing Bee Champion.

heto talaga ang primetime bida. may game show, current affairs, fantasy, quiz bee, drama, reality show, action and love story. abs cbn lang ang may kayang gumawa ng ganitong shows. lahat ng genre gabi gabi na nating mapapanood. meron ba nyan sa kabila? malapit na ring magstart ang comedy series sa primetime bida na parekoy!

For your information ang ORIGINAL RUN ng SINGING BEE sa NBC sa USA ay noong July 10, 2007 hanggang December 28, 2007 samantalang ang All Star K! (previously K! The 1 Million Peso Videoke Challenge hosted by Arnel Ignacio) ay nagsimula noong January 13, 2002 na hanggang ngayon ay napapanood pa rin. Kaya wala akong nakikitang karapatan na magsampa ng kaso. Ano laban ka?

i doubt kung magtatagal ang singing bee sa pilipinas compare to all star k
since most tv viewers’ tastes are.. nevermind..
you could see it in the ratings in metro manila (only)

Mas maganda naman talaga yung K! kaysa sa SINGING BEE, lalo na nung si ARNEL IGNACIO pa yung host. Ang pangit ng timeslot ng SINGING BEE nyo, halatang linagay dun para mapanood, kasi before siya ng LOBO at PBB.
