Corazon Aquino’s colon operation successful

Former president Corazon “Cory” Aquino underwent a surgical operation at the Makati Medical Center to remove the cancer-stricken portion of former her colon.
Cory was reportedly at the operating room from 9:30AM to 2PM. The doctors were “very positive” that she would overcome the disease. “Doctors are confident about her procedure and eventual recovery. Operation was smooth, all her vitals are good” Kris said Monday night.
She is currently confined at the surgical intensive care unit of the hospital and is still not allowed to accept too many visitors to avoid infection.
