Corazon “Cory” Aquino’s funeral and burial on August 5 is a special non-working holiday
Malacañang has reportedly declared Wednesday, Aug. 5, the funeral and burial day of the remains of former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino as a special non-working holiday.
This will allow the nation to witness the moments before she is brought to her final resting place beside her late husband, Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. at the Manila Memorial Park.
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has declared a 10-day period of national mourning from August 1 to August 10 over the death of Aquino through Proclamation No. 1850.

chuz! pa pogi pts lang palasyo kaya no pasok dat day. kasi buking sila. binawi nila security ni cory bago to namatay tapos nag offer state funeral. tama nga naman na ang magpaparangal kay tita cory taumbayan hindi malakanyang. tseh!

By the way, the late President Corazon Aquino deserves this kind of commemoration. She’s a true Filipino na nagbigay muli sa atin ng kalayaan. Walang makakapantay sa ngayon ng kanyang kabutihan at kababaang loob. Ang Pangulong walang anomalya o anumang bahid ng kurakot noong kanyang administrasyon maliban sa iilang tumutuligsa sa kanyang kakayahan pero naka-survive siya sa ganoong pagpuna ng kanyang mga kritiko.

It is so sad to realize that we lost an important person na tulad ni Former President Corazon Aquino..She share a lots of things just to help the filipino people kahit wala na sya sa pwesto. Sya ang ina ng taong-bayan..ng demokrasya at ng kalayaan..Mananatili ka puso ng bawat pilipino..
