Corazon “Cory” Aquino Wake and Burial
The remains of former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino will lie in state at the La Salle Greenhills (LSGH) gymnasium, and the wake will be open to the public at certain times.
The public viewing at the LSGH (Gate 5) will start at 5PM this Saturday, August 1 and will continue until Monday, August 3. The wake will be closed to the public from 4AM to 7AM Sunday.
She will be buried beside her late husband, Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. at the Manila Memorial Park on Wednesday after the 9AM mass.

I honestly felt a sense of loss when Cory Aquino died. I may not have been her strongest supporter, but I am in awe of what she has done for the country. To stay and fight the dictatorship and to have the strength to see it through, I have got to simply say that she has earned not just my respect, but the respect of everyone who has not been her supporter.
In retrospect, she has been more than just a symbol of freedom, but to me, she is the epitome of true strength and spirituality. God bless you madame Cory Aquino. May you share your strength with the Filipino people now more than ever.
I salute you madame. You and Ninoy have truly shown us that the Filipino is worth dying for. Thank you for being there for all of us.

You are worth remembering I am very thankful for I was given the chance to serve as your presidential guard member. Your contribution to our country and people is the trademark of you as a true pilipino. You are right when you said thanks god for making you a pilipino, you are true pilipino not in words but in deeds. Thank you lord for allowing cory to be the president of this country at least the example she set will touch the heart and conscience of those in power and those who are still willing to serve. Maam may you’ll rest in peace together with your loving husband Ninoy. Maraming salamat maam and paalam.
