“Cory, the Musical” at the AFP Theater on August 30

The first musical play about Corazon “Cory” Aquino titled “Cory, The Musical” that drew a huge crowd on its first and second night last year at the Meralco Theatre will be restaged on August 30, 2009 at the AFP Theater.
It is a tribute to the inspiring life of the former president told through 19 original songs composed by Lourdes “Bing” Pimentel. “Cory” cast members are Former Miss Saigon Isay Alvarez (as Cory), tenor Sherwin Sozon (as Ninoy Aquino), Pinky Marquez (as Imelda Marcos) and Robert Sena (as former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos), Lou Veloso, Andy Bais and Sheila Asunsion.
