Craigslist, Livejournal, Netflix down in SF Power Outage

Sporadic power outages hit San Francisco on Tuesday afternoon, affecting widespread areas including the city’s downtown financial district and Internet companies whose servers rely on a steady supply of electricity.

Some of the sites that were affected include Technorati, Netflix, Typepad, LiveJournal, Sun.com, and Craigslist. Pacific Gas & Electric Co., California’s biggest electricity utility is still investigating the cause of the outages.
