Cyber Monday Deals
Cyber Monday is the term coined by retailers to describe the Monday after Black Friday, where many people log on at work to look for gifts they didn’t manage to buy over the long Thanksgiving weekend. It has been seen as the start of the online holiday shopping season.
Almost three-quarters of all retailers are planning a special promotion on Cyber Monday, up from 43 percent just two years ago. Promotions will range from special e-mail campaigns (32.0%) to specific deals (29.9%) to one-day sales (28.9%). Additionally, a quarter of all retailers will offer free shipping on all purchases.
