If you guys think that my post above was too long. That’s just me being extremely passionate about my beloved Philippines. As the late Corazon Aquino said during her speech in front of the US congress after the very famous bloodless people power revolution against a brutal dictator, Some countries reject the idea of freedom but we, The Filipino People want it and would do anything just to achieve it.

I think thats what sets us apart from other races, we LOVE FREEDOM!!!! WE LOVE LIFE!!! MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS!

Okay first and foremost… I dont think that “Vietkong” has any idea of what he or she is spewing out of his or her mouth. We Filipinos are damn proud of where we came from and we have our very own unique culture that strongly lives on through new FILIPINO generations. You say we are whores to the spaniards and the americans??? But sir, didn’t you know that we kicked them out of our country because we love democracy so much and we are naturally a race of independent and freedom loving people and we dont want other races running our beloved country. I will not say SHIT about you and your race CAUSE I DONT THINK ITS GOING TO BE WORTH MY TIME TRYING TO BASH SOMETHING I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT… did you even realized that none of the thing you said on your uneducated post is true. It’s as if you read a couple of sentences about the Philippines and concluded on a retarded conclusion. You are a disgrace as a human being in general. Before you judge someone or some race go look at yourself and your “race” in the mirror and you will realize the ugly truth. The very UGLY TRUTH!! lets put it this way the ONLY SIGNIFICANT thing that happened in your country(Vietnam) is a WAR YOUR OWN RACE STARTED (a bloody and senseless warif i may add) and has to be fixed or atleast they tried, by the americans. But our culture is so rich even BEFORE the 300 years of colonization by the spanish and at least a decade of by the americans. And as an evolving “normal” sentient beings. Filipinos harnessed our culture and the other cultures and made something better out of it. But! that doesn’t mean that we dont have our own because we HAVE OUR OWN THING GOING ON. Well, that’s the problem with Pinoys. They have no culture, no language & thus no respect. EVERYTHING, it’s either they follow the Spanish (culture, name & religion) or they follow the Americans (language & culture). Where is your own culture & language??? English is the main language in Philippine. Not everyone in Philippine know how to speak Tagalog. & Pinoys always worship anything American & Spanish, that you guys forget ur own roots. Where as the Spanish & American were they ones that rape your women, kill your men & enslave your people. & you guys don’t FIGHT, like how the Vietnameses kick the American asses. When the Vietnamese kick American asses in the Vietnam war, everyone in the world respect the Vietnamese, even though they are Americans. As a result of the War, the Vietnamese people BREAK their colonial mentality, & are damn proud of their own LANGUAGE, CULTURE, NAME & RELIGION. Even though Philippine were independent in 1946 & Vietnam only independent in 1976, look at how Vietnam is compare to the Philippine. Economically, politically & militarily, Vietnam is much better than the Philippine, although Philippine had a head start of more than 30 years compare to Vietnam. How come? It’s all in your mentality. Vietnamese are damn proud of themselves, their own LANGUAGE, CULTURE, NAME & RELIGION. Whereas, for Pinoy, it’s either Spanish or American. Your Pinoy singers singing Tagalog also are view inferior compare to the ones singing in English. How come?

It was meant to be funny but some if not most of the Filipinos are not laughing about it. After all, they are still a little irked about the “Desperate Housewives” drama. However, it seems like a lot of these comments focus more on how some hate Jon Stewart and how some hate how the Filipinos react. Filipinos have pride like most other nationalities and sometimes that’s all what most of them have. It took a filipino revolution to topple a dictator and elect Ms. Cory Aquino. So give the former president some respect not for what she’s done but for what she stood for.
Just my 2 cents…it’s nothing against jon stewart or the daily show but for those who criticize the Filipinos for being a little sensitive? Why don’t you try to be sensitive sometimes?
