Just weeks after Steve Jobs announced the release of the iPhone, an anonymous Gizmodo fan uploaded iPhone’s ringtone via Gizmodo.
He had a pretty clever way of obtaining it. In Steve Jobs demo of the iPhone, Jobs took a phone call and it was the first time that the said ringtone was heard. The anonymous Gizmodo fan extracted the audio from the presentation, cleaned up the static and you have an mp3 ready to be downloaded by the public.
