mega manila lang yan. eat bulaga is still the best noontime show in the philippines. no one can beat it, not even wowowee. i’m not an avid fan of eat bulaga, but i think eat bulaga is better. just an opinion, wowowee supporters don’t have to get mad at me. peace people!!!

Ang Eat Bulaga pinananonood ko para antukin ako sa hapon pagkatapos kumain ng
tanghalian. Yan ang sleeping pills ko ang Eat Bulaga!!!! Ang mga programa nila at mga kasintada na ni Joey Pangit!!! SImula pa noong 1980’s sa Channel 9 di na nabago ang mga jokes panay scripted kaya ang sarap panoorin inaantok ako!!! Sige tulog muna ako kasi bulagaan na!!!!

Wowowee is the best in the world including the Philippines. I’m from the states and my friends love watching abs-cbn(tfc) rather than gma. They say that gma is boring rather than wowowee and they don’t even understand tagalog. And the reason why EB is still on air is because they are the only ones that keep the channel together just so they can have the most longlasting show on the channel other than those korean telenovelas and that other stuff. That’s why Wowowee is the best talaga sa buong Pilipinas at buong Mundo!

But it’s ok lang that they show the true life of a filipino which the majority is near the poverty line. Though it may be repetitive, you see the pure Filipino who lives in the Pilipinas. Like when they started Wowowee in 2005 they just showed all rich people with their families winning money that they necessarily did not even need, but now, Willie is doing the best in providing support at tulong for those in need.The ASF dancers are real DANCERS and most are beautiful and I think they all present what Filipinas are, and the EB babes have nothing on them except just beauty used such as like the younger and smaller version of the hotbabes or something, saida tossing a baton, goes into a split, then catches it:/, and the the copying of lunnining and mariposa, and that sadako, freaky!!!:/. And the new iYUGYOG Mo is very funny when you see the people humiliating themselves by not even doing the correct dance moves but they try their best:) talaga. And I can’t wait for Willionario!!!!

Anywayz overall both shows copy each other and I welcome Willionario as a new addition to Wowowee(hopefully Eat Bulaga does not copy or they just have to come up with a better one…) And the ASF Dancers definitely have more talent than those EB Babes. The ASF Dancers have the beauty and the moves to go with that, but the EB Babes are just trophy girls with little moments of talent.

Imbes magtulungan, mas binibigyan pa ng panahon ang pakikipagsiraan, bakit hindi na lang kayo maging maligaya na mayroon tayong mga shows na nakakatulong at nagpapasaya sa ating mga Pilipino. Napaka typical Filipino style, kung ganyan ng ganyan ang mga ugali nating mga Pinoy, talagang hindi tayo aasenso.

actually pareho lang silang nag bibigay ng kaligayahan sa mga nanonood kaya walang dapat na maganfda at pangit…. dapat happy na lang tayo at mag noontime show naganito lalo na sa atin nasa ibang bansa para di tayo ma hohome sick dba…… nung nag balikbayan ako pareho akong pumunta sa dalawang programa na yan. thesame lang sila. sa isang programa may suplado doon din sa isa meron din kaya pareho lang. theres a good side and bad side din sila. si vic suplado talaga s akabila aman si willie din. okiodki guys work muna tayo hehehhehhe

OO na MaRcSf wowowee is really doing great.. imagine wala pa silang 5 years pero ang ultra stampede eh in one day ang daming nakitilan ng buhay ( sorry to say this but reality bite)…EB for 27 years in history walang ganyang kagrabeng aksidente…at si willie dignidad nlang ang natitira sa taong mahirap pati yun kinukuha pa para sa ratings..do you think bukal sa loob nya mga ginagawa nya…ask yourself and observe…bati tayao nagcocomment lang din ako…

EB never had such an ‘ultra’ incident because not many people are so desperate to join their show. The people on their show find that Wowowee is the answer to their problems and cuz they give and support them with money. Wowowee is the show of the Philippines because they face the real truth that the Philippines if full of poverty and they decide to not brush it away but to welcome it as a “real life story” of a Filipino and that everyone has to just face reality(Reality bites doesn’t it). You don’t see humongous lines of people lining up for Eat Bulaga and badly wanting to be in or part of their show.

Yes Wowowee is the best that’s what I’ve been saying for these last few posts (if you scroll on up to a couple of posts of mine) but it always engages into a quarrel against Eat Bulaga. To me I find Wowowee more fun to watch because of the many prizes which benefit the people who win them and the great dancers, the dances and also the people who make me laugh when they dance, but many people have stayed with Eat Bulaga when it first came out or built a connection to it when they were young, so I guess we just have to respect that and just watch and enjoy Wowowee. There is enough room for the both of them in this world. WOWOWEE is the best!!!

Well in my opinion eat bulaga is still number one bumabalik na ung leading nila sa ratings this past few days read the news pls kung cno man sasalungat sa kin, at ang mga pakulo ng wowowee maybe accidentally ay nadaan na ng eat bulaga and about the stampede nde ko sinisisi si willie kasi nde naman niya talaga ung gusto ang problema diyan ay ung nag organize sa sobrang gusto nilang makita ng tao at mapalabas sa tv kung gaano karaming tao ang dumating ay pinaghintay nila ung mga tao pede naman kasing magbigay sila ng mga ticket di ba? katulad ng ginagawa ng ibang shows gaya ng pbb and pda gusto kasi nilang pamukha na sobrang dami ng dumating they’re only thinking about the ratings and the impression that they can give to the people but again nde ko sinisisi si willie

ako po sasalungat.. kasi these week po lamang ang wowowee.. kahapon po august 27.. nilamon na ratings ng wowowee ang sa eat bulaga… about the tickets.. di naman po kasi expected na ganoon kadami ang darating.. bakit ang eat bulaga ba in their 28 years nakakuha na ng gaanon kadaming audience? its astonishing na yung one year old (noon) na show nakakuha ng ganoon….

nakakatawa naman ang mga comments dito…ganun pala ka tindi ang epekto ng dalawang network..ang lalakas kasi e..pero kong ako ang tatanungin sa panahon ngayon mas lamang yata ang wowowee kaysa EB.. alam niyo kung bakit sa ratings mega manila ang basis ng kapuso at kapamilya kasi dito sa bisayas at sa mindanao matatalo talaga ang eb. sa tv signal pa lang tatalunin na sila ng kapamilya..pag may pumunta nga na taga kapuso dito sa amin i’m sure hindi makikilala yan dito unlike sa kapamilya malakas ang signal nila kaya kahit si pokwang lang ang pupunta dito sikat na sikat na…balik tayo sa wowowee at eb.. dati sa eb ako nanonood nong nasa rpn 9 at abs pa lang sila…nang lumipat sila sa gma di ko na masyadong napapanood kasi nga yung style nila same pa rin parang pa ulit ulit lang…mula pa nong una ko silang napanood way back 1988 bata pa ako non.pero yung wowowee kakaiba ang gimik, napa ka emotional tsaka mararamdaman mo talaga na mahirap talaga ang buhay sa pinas..yung nangyaring estampede isa lang yun na nagpapakita na mahirap talaga ang pinas kasi hindi naman ganun karami siguro kung mayaman ang pinas and besides kahit ako nga di ako makapaniwala na ganun karami ang darating since hindi naman masyado ka taas ang rating ng wowowee that time. sa eb hindi nangyari ang ganun kasi di naman sila gumawa ng kalaking pa premyo.minsa kasi naiisip ng mga kapwa natin na isa yun sa sagot sa kahirapan.ganun pa man wag na tayong mag titirahan.. isipin na lang natin na sa sitwasyon ng bansa natin may mga tao pang gustong tumulong at dapat pa nga nating pasasalamatan yun kasi nagbibigay sila ng saya..peace po sa inyong lahat!!!

Before i was a big fan of eat bulaga for so many years i didnt even like wowowee but since i noticed some big changes in eat bulaga nang mapansin kong ginagaya nila ang wowowee. specially ung “adoodoodoo song” to create “itaktak”and getting the International viewers or OFW. at first i only wanted the portion of wheel of furtune coz its funny and sometimes inspirational quite its very dramatic, but its the truth those are the filipinos right now, we are in poverty. I got mad becoz of joey deleon’s accusing willie af “mandaraya” lagi nya pinariringgan ang kabila. whatever mistakes what they have done i think its appropriate to shut up your mouth or dont react dahil hindi sila nakikialam sa show nyo? to be honest with you i found eat bulaga or wowowee so corny before, till i saw the big difference on noon time show till i became a big fan of wowowee. before i dont even wanted to be shown my face on the camera if i ever had a chance to go to both shows. now i wanted to go in wowoweee which i already did and im very proud! isnt it a big threat or a desperate move why joey’s doing that? I think willy’s doin a good job making people happy and thats the real thing and important. our family is an avid fan of 7 we watch almost all of your shows but joe deleon really pissess me off! i think your just jelous. you cannot accept the fact that 1 host and 2 co host and bentong will make your ratings go down.

Mas marami papremyo in Wowowee and they have many original things to do and Eat Bulaga is copying them. Please EB if you want to be the hari of noontime shows please change your games and gimiks cuz its like Wowowee 2 but without better dancers and more hosts.

hay naku! bata pa ako, EAT Bulaga na yan! lahat ng originals (as far as I know) ay nanggaling sa EB. Alam naman natin na ang audience ng magkabilang shows ay iisa, (pero subdivided lang), ang style naman nila ay talagang malaki ang difference. Wag nyong hayaang manatiling “bulag sa katotohanan” ang buong Filipino viewers. Pakiramdam ko nga isa ang EB sa mga naiwan ko jan sa Pinas. Hinahanap-hanap ko talaga ang Eat Bulaga Barkadas. Kasi nga sila na talaga ang nakagisnang panoorin ng pamilya namin. Ngayon, and2 ako sa Jeddah, we got only TFC here, but it seems that “O.A.” ang Wowowee. Pilit, hindi natural at somehow scripted ang jokes. Sa madaling sabi, audience impact is fake!!! HELLO!!! Siempre, hanapbuhay yan, eh. They just do what they are supposed to. Kahit na “CORNY”. i’ve watched EB sa room ng friend kong may Pinoy Plus Orbit subscription here in Jeddah. Ok na ok pa rin!!! May nagsasabing mas malaki daw magbigay ng papremyo ang Wowowee… Oo nga, sino ba naman ang ayaw manalo sa isang game show? Tinatakaw lang ng Wowowee ang mga Pinoy by showing off those prizes (say in large amounts) na mas malaki “daw” kesa kabila. Ang ending, lalong marami sa unemployed ang “tamad” maghanap ng trabaho. Pumipila na lang sa TV studio. Isipin na lang natin ang impact sa society. Ganun na lang ba ang buhay pinoy? MABABAW? “MATATAYOG ANG MGA PANGARAP, PERO ANG PISI NG MGA PAGTITIIS AT PAGSISIKAP AY MAIIKLI.” kung tutuusin, there should be no feud going on between viewers of these 2 shows. i hope majority sa pinoy audience natin are smart enough to choose the right show. wala akong balak siraan ang ibang shows, pero sa nakikita ko, EAT BULAGA! pa rin ang nakapagbibigay ng “ISANG LIBO’T ISANG TUWA” sa buong bansang Pilipino.

Eat Bulaga is not majority original. Laban o Bawi was copied originally from a game from Pepe Pimental in 1960s and it was called Kuarta o Kahon!(Money or Box). So everyone basically copied from Pepe. Also EB copied everything from when the show starts with a total celebration and singing and they copied Luningning and Mariposa and really, Wowowee has DANCERs and EB like I said before are just trophy girls who could do splits and all. They are also starting to copy the novelty songs like Itatak Mo, but they don’t have great dancers to dance that. But come on, before EB was the king of all noon time shows and at that time it WAS original and until now it’s a veteran of all noontime shows, but when Wowowee came and became successful they were still standing but had something to really compete with that’s why they copied gimiks. You can say that EB lost their ‘Pazzazz’. And when I go to Wowowee it’s very enjoying and the audience impact is not fake whatsoever. And Wowowee has so many prizes because of the support the other people in the states and companies give them and they see that since Wowowee is so successful they can help their kababayans and are also smartly thinking: why not promote our items on this show since it’s watched be most Filipinos around the world?(My friends who are foreign don’t undertstand tagalog but they still laugh and enjoy it).And who do Filipinos around the world like better? TFC is most purchased, but many still can purchase iGMA , but are they going to buy it? It’s up to them. Nonetheless EB is still reigning but there is also Wowowee who since its debut has been successful, started their own originality and EB started copying them, same for Wowowee too. But as of now I see a great deal of Wowowee gimiks in EB, but it’s good that Wowowee has the songs like DODODO,DADADA, HAHAHA, and the games Milyonaryo and Iyugyog Mo Na and Willie of Fortune which somehow distincts itself from EB, that’s what they’re trying to do. If EB wants to have their own thrown and not share at all, then they should be more creative and design more shows which appeal to the Filipino people.

KOREK! AGREE AKO KAY EB FOREVER! And 2 you MaRcSf, Kuwarta o Kahon was a game show as a whole. Not like Eat Bulaga, which is a “noontime show” na mas maraming palabok. Do you see the difference there? Ikumpara ba ang Kuwarta o Kahon sa Eat Bulaga? Ang pinag-uusapan natin d2 ay kung sino ng nanggaya kanino. Okie dokie….I’m from the states and from perspectives of most Filipinos here TFC is the best comparable to iGMA. I work at a hospital and many patients here watch TFC. They just decide to watch TFC rather then iGMA. They’re other ethnicities and they don’t know EB’s past but when they compare it to Wowowee, they like Wowowee more. I think it’s based on choice whether or not you purchase either one, but if you are a Filipino-American and when you before moved here and you always watched Eat Bulaga, then why are you buying TFC rather than iGMA. You are not forced to watch TFC so you can still watch iGMA, but people here mostly decide to watch TFC. At home I have both channels and since the beginning of Wowowee it might have not been an immediate success but it gradually made it up there and since the Ultra accident, lives were taken, but do you think that was Willie’s fault, no. It’s due to the security and the hardheaded FIlipinos who were tooo desperate to get in. And Filipinos are in the world of poverty and it’s just sad to see them struggle. And why do so many poor Filipinos have cellphones? Eat Bulaga has always been there and then there is Wowowee. The purists decide to stay with EB and the new generation and some old decide to move with Wowowee. My niece and her cousins were brought up watching Wowowee and they noticed some copying by EB after Wowowee started some of their gimiks, I also found that suspicious too. My grandparents and parents watched EB when they were back in the Philippines but when they came to the US, they ordered TFC because it became such a fad and iGMA had poor ways of promoting themselves that’s why my grandparents never knew of iGMA after a few years they started to love TFC. And EB used to be shown on basic cable a few years ago and now its gone. Choice is the premise in all of this as well as the purists vs. new generation Filipinos.

Just to let you know, I live in the states and I am related to new born Wowowee lovers who used to watch Eat Bulaga who number around 21 people and they say that Eat Bulaga is the same old stuff and are copying Wowowee. And yes I am in the charity works, and I always go to soup kitchens and am part of 5 clubs which dedicate themselves to the needs of needy people around the US. I am also a 3.875 GPA student who plays 5 instruments and in sports. What do you do? I hope you’re not stuck on the computer everyday, how boring.Anywayz I am just speaking my mind and not asking you for yours. Ewan!….. I hear a little bird in the distance and it’s annoying me. Wowowee does not always pick a ’special’ person or child to be on their show. I found that they realized the capabilities of each individual whether or not they are competent to play or not. If they are at least almost literate then they are aware of what is going on or atleast can listen to a question, they could play. And its welcoming that Willie chooses the ’speial’ children or adults because that is not a norm in regular TV shows where once you see a special person you intentionally think they are not going to pick him or her to play because it’s not normal in society today. Special or not special, Wowowee is open to everyone whether or not you accept it or not. When Wowowee opened in 2005, they opened themselves to the public and many people fled away, and many are flocking to the game and are still flocking to the show.

Wowowee in every way is intelligent. Do you know why people are watching the show is because they are smart in the way they promote the show in the Philippines and internationally. Eat Bulaga is not so smart in promoting themselves even Joey De Leon admits it and said on the news that they are 10 years behind Wowowee, and I expected them to be years ahead since they are a 28 year old institution. If Wowowee was not smart then why are people still watching it, and by choice, choosing Wowowee over Eat Bulaga? By the way fool me not, I speak English because I live in the states, somewhere you will never arrive to because you’re stuck in the Philippines. And I am not playing intelligent, I am intelligent. If you scroll on up in the past entries it says that I play 5 instruments and it’s true.I have received above a 4.0 GPA most of my life and go to a technical high school and ranked number one in my technology class. And if I did receive a B it would be in one of the 4 AP classes I am taking. So don’t tell me I am not smart at all and why don’t you speak English like what is expected of you by your government. Umm now I know what that annoying bird is saying. It was so hard to understand since it doesn’t have proper grammar, no manners of projecting what it says, and can’t even speak a correct word of english……

Yes really. And by living in the states, many people do not turn out to be like me just to let you know. Apparently you do not know anything about individuality, and by expressing my thoughts, I am a perfect promoter of individuality. Maybe my thoughts might be biased due to the fact that ABS-CBN(TFC) receives great exposure here in the states not i-GMA, but that is why I defend Wowowee for I find the show to be welcoming after a long day of school work and afterschool activities. These ratings you speak about place Wowowee at the lower spectrum and the show technically deserves the spot because as of now, they are in a reconstruction phase and are doing their best in creating a new game and finding a way to regain more of their audience. But these ratings seem to focus on a certain region of the Philippines but not the whole and not internationally. Nonetheless, Wowowee wins over international exposure because ABS-CBN knows how to utilize and place their money in the right places. Many walks of life here in the states do watch TFC, no matter their intelligence competency. And if keeping a low profile makes me more of a person, then it does not allow me to make my ideas explicit and again does not create a sense of individualism, which every single individual has the right to and which defines themselves as essentially, a human being and person. Yes Willie is not perfect just like every human being including Joey de Leon. They each have their personal issues and why can’t everyone realize that they both have and still will make mistakes in their lives and in the entertainment business. And yes I do understand your flawed response which still does need to go under revision, because my mother, a teacher, lets me correct her students’ papers. Just like everyone in this blog forum, we are equals expressing our says in this apparent fued between both of these shows which have nonetheless changed the Philippine perspective of noon time shows. mr englisiro or mr. lasengero,whatever…i really dont know if youre really concern of what is happening to your sorrounding..if you watch that episode,.ewan ko lang kung ano ang mafeel mo or baka manhid ka dahil mayaman ka o birdbrain ka talaga..parehas lang kayo nang iniidolo mong willie,nagmamayabang para lang maempress ang mga audience na ipakita sa buong mundo na matulungin sila kaya pati mga may kapansanan sinasali sa gameshow nila..mag isip ka nga kung paano sasagot ang may kapansanan sa games nila,na kunwari may paiyak iyak pa na naaawa sa bata..dream come true na nakita nga sa buong mundo ang pandaraya na ginawa nila….

But do you think Wowowee only does that to just gain an audience and watch them more? Part of that question is unintentionally yes but there is a presence of a conscience in the minds of the people working there. If Wowowee just feeds off people’s sympathies to be a good show, then that is very unintelligible of them. But they don’t, and they actually feel obligated to support the people of their country especially when their needy and in poverty, which is very apparent. Anybody should be happy and recognize any show which donates and gives to the poor with little contribution or great contribution. The thing you need to worry about is giving to your countrymen who suffer from hunger and bad health. And Wowowee, though having dealt with trials and tribulations, has offered their help to many people in every way.

No Eat Bulaga are the ones who want ratings. If they know they are the institution and best noon variety show, then why are they so defensive against Wowowee. If they are so good then they should just not worry at all of Wowowee and do what they want, stand alone and be the best. And during the “Ultra” occurence, that showed Wowowee at its peak at popularity, that’s why many people wanted to go. And Willie is a human being just like everyone human being who makes mistakes and has a conscience. What do you expect Willie and Wowowee to do, not give money or support after they see someone who needs it more than they do? No, they give money to anyone who needs it and they realize that everyone especially in the Philippines is not rich at all, and the best they can do is give money, which everyone wants and needs to survive.

MaRcSf, it’s not EB who drools for rating. EB has been in the Philippine Television for years, and it is, as you say, an institution. That means it can stand alone as a strong show, unlike your show WAWAWI who happens to be a weakling if not because of TFC. The point is EB can stay there without global exposure. Afterall, it is a Philippine Noontime Show… it is made for Filipino Audience, perse, and the main audience are the Filipinos in their homeland. Don’t just base your rating by global access. We all know that TFC is a tool for Filipino Artists to gain wordwide exposure, and that’s the advantage of Wawawi. But the real story behind this, my dear MaRcSf, your WAWAWI is a crawling show, who happens to be really desperate to be on top, taking all the opportunities at the expense of Genuine Morale of Filipino community. Yes, Willie and Joey both have their personality flaws… but in this point in time, it is not proper to claim that your show WAWAWI is number 1. When it comes to looking which show is more credible, I hope that you are prepared and capable of imbibing what the net could provide you in order for you to really find the whole story. We all know that TFC delivers the WAWAWI show on tape mode, and it could edit or not put on air any show that they think a minus on their image. By the way, in this Blog, do you have to write your LIFE STORY just to convince other people on your belief in WAWAWI? Tsk, Tsk, Tsk… why not take a cup of coffee… or an orange juice… or better yet a glass of cold water… while watching the CARTOON CHARACTER Willie Revillame. OOOPS…. am I too rude on that? Sorry, I guess it is better having MANGGANG HILAW and BAGOONG in front of your TV Set… at least, it’s really Filipino.

If EB was an institution then why are they so bothered, sensitive, and have an inferiority complex when it comes to competing with Wowowee or any other show? As you defined EB as standing alone, then why don’t they do that and not be so bothered by Wowowee? When Joey was saying that Willie was cheating and fooling everyone, he shouldn’t have said any word at all. His primary goal was to bring out the controversy which is now apparent to everyone so Wowowee ratings would thus decline, while EB stays at the top which they consistently still are (that’s why they are so selfish in ratings, because when they are at the top already, they cannot accept competition or anything lower such as ratings going down). If EB was the institution they claim they are, then they shouldn’t even bother worrying about how Wowowee is doing on their show or how they’re doing in ratings. And Wowowee does disseminate across the entire Philippines and it just appears that the ratings do not account for every single Filipino town or city, but in controlled and focused areas of important cities like Metro Manila. And first of all, did I claim that Wowowee is number 1? I am pretty sure I did not if you scroll on up… When Wowowee started in 2005, their focus on type of audience was normal middle class Filipinos, and as many Filipinos in poverty started flocking to Wowowee, Wowowee was full of them, and what do you think they should have done, just brush them away like cinder dust? No, and they did it to the contraire and actually became a show of all classes of people. Just because they seem to constantly invite poor people, they do it for the impact of their stories. Who would you rather hear: a middle to upper class person talking about how they are socialites and they can afford things or a person bombarded with all that poverty affects on a person and their lives which bring enlighted hope for them when they receive money? To tell you the truth, the poor person seems to have more interesting lives than that of the people who can afford many things.
The problem here in the United States is how many Filipino parents do not even inform their children of their own lives in the Philippines or do not speak Tagalog to the children, or even talk to them about poverty of the vast country. It is a good thing that Wowowee brings cultural insights to those who have not embraced their Filipino culture just yet. For example, my friend is Chinese, Canadian, German and Filipino. When they still showed Eat Bulaga! on an asian channel a few years ago, but they stopped now, he did not have any awareness of poverty in the Philippines at all because it seemed EB reached out to mainly people who were well off and did not provide any insight on any evidence of needy people. But when my friend watched Wowowee, his whole life perspective of the Philippines was different and now he is a lead organizer in a small charity group who give food, clothes and money to many countries who have high poverty including the Philippines. Does EB internally influence anyone to do good for other people?
Oh yeah I am watching ABS-CBN(TFC) as of now, and you know this glass of cold orange juice tastes really great, but with these MANGOS and BAGOONG, it tastes even better…

Hello I was talking about the response you replied to recently. At this time, Wowowee it in a rebuilding phase with temporary games while losing audiences, different from September where some problems were just erupting such as the Wilyonaryo incident which was catylyzed due to Joey De Leon and his inferior comments. And when I said that Wowowee was number 1 in September, that was an exaggerated comment. A comment which was once true after several problems happened consecutively right after one another, leading to the position Wowowee is in now. And as I am speaking now in the month of October, so what I say in September now does not reflect what I say in the other months due to the different occurences transpiring in Wowowee. And you said ” …but in this point in time, it is not proper to claim that your show WAWAWI is number 1″. Are you in a time machine? Do you know the differences between months and their order? I claimed that in the beginning days of September, and this “point of time…” is October, for you wrote this in October, correct? I did not say Wowowee was number 1 at all in this month of October or after September 3 because I know Wowowee is not number 1. And technically those words are not in bold letters they are in “CAPS” or ‘capitalized’ just to fill you in. And I guess you did not have any response of defense to what I had said above your comment. Wow, what a way to veer to another subject or ‘comment’ (in the past) which is not necessarily the topic we were discussing. And hey I live in the states so don’t I have to speak English? You do not really have the mental capacity to extrapolate what I just said because it is not simplified for you. I did not deny that I did write that blog that said “Wowowee is #1…”, I am just saying it was appropriate to say at that time I wrote it because Wowowee was not in so much a clutter of mess as it is now as they are dealing with rebuilding themselves. And yeah, there are lectures in learning basic computer skills and I did not take one because it’s common sense. By the way I do not have time to proofread and revise your work of a mess. Yeah I have to mention that I do live in the states, because here, we speak something called English, the language you try sooooo hard to speak. And no, it is not about social status or class here. ABS-CBN did not only depend on Eat Bulaga. If they did please show evidence or proof of the ratings as Eat Bulaga was still in ABS. Even when Eat Bulaga left ABS-CBN, they were still standing strong, and as you said it was due to the presence of EB, but what happened when EB left the station? ABS-CBN’s success in the media business did not depend solely on EB. In terms of donations, the influx of money donation seems to be at an apparent low due to the fact that during Willie of Fortune, Willie does not offer $20 to $50 to the contestants and you rarely see any balikbayans or OFWs give money nowadays. And no, Wowowee does not channel the setting of a church or chapel. If something solemn, sad, or sympathetic occurs within the show, do you expect that same feeling to endure throughout the show? No, that is why they play uplifting or upbeat songs to lift off the heaviness of the feelings and emotions that just transpired before it. Wowowee’s job is to make everyone happy and not to bring them down and feel pity. It is good that they make poverty in the Philippines apparent and evident and “in your face” because they do not hide the character of a Filipino and his or her life and status. Wowowee ingrained into our own personal attitudes and hearts sympathy for such needy people and informed us to recognize that people ARE suffering and action NEEDS to take place, not only from Wowowee, but from the Philippine people, government and the world and its lay missionaries.

Okay.Okay, number na po sa iba ang Eat Bulaga. I say, LET IT BE! Pero sa amin naman pong mababaw lang ang kaligayahan, saludo po kami sa Wowowee. Kahit sa ilang minutong panonood, alam ko sulit ang binabayad ko sa kuryente. Hinahanap lang po namin ay yung palabas na may substance, na magpapatotoo sa talagang nangyayari sa buhay ng mga kasama nating Pilipino, at magpapatawa ng may sense(kahit OA man po sa iba). Pumunta man po kayo sa iba’t ibang city dito sa U.S na may TFC, Wowowwee po ang no.1 na nakakaalis ng homesick. Kung sa opinyon man po ninyo na, kumpetisyon, pagmamanipula, kababawan at kayabangan lang ang napapanood sa programang Wowowee, nasa inyo ang karapatan na maglipat ng channel. Sa akin lang po, ito ang nagpapahaba ng buhay ng aking mga magulang. Dahil kahit na sa ilang oras lang na panonod, nakikita ko na masaya sila, at yun ang hindi kayang tumbasan ng pera(o kahit na rating pa)!

Hoy Venchima! For your information, hindi sa ABS nagstart ng ratings ang EAT BULAGA, y god nakakahiya k, I’m prsently working sa one the channels d2 sa Pinas. Pero isa lang masasabi ko, wala pa ring tatalo sa lakas at galing ng idea ng GMA 7. Kahit sa pagpapakatao, dahil ako mismo nakasaksi. When we graduated in college, nagapply kmi sa ABS, know what? Di kmi inintertain, samantalang ang GMA, eto 4 of nasa GMA, And I can still visit them, napaka warm ng mga tao. talagang professoinal sila. By the way, I’m a graduate of ATENEO.

Whatever they still cheated and that’s the main point. ABS-CBN(TFC) dealt with the same thing(Wilyonaryo) but GMA cheated on ratings which is a bigger problem which encases all shows.

Si willie, hipokrito, mapagkunwari, malisyoso…wala na lang makuha ang ABS CBN na host sa noontime show nila dahil walang gustong mag apply, eh si willie kailangang kailangan ng pera sinunggab ang offer kahit alam nya na hindi magtataga yan…puros sigawan lang sa show niya, bastos yang si willie. buti pa ABS CBN kunin nyo na lang si EDU MANZANO as host ng noontime show ninyo, bukod sa may sense of humor, matalino, pogi pa at tiyak yan di magko comment sa Eat Bulaga dahil edukado di tulad ni Willie, mal edukado, presko at manyak! Sa ngayon halata na rin ang pagka-boring sa eat bulaga noontime shows.Medyo luma at kupas na ang style nila sa show.Kaya nga binawasan na ang oras nila,dati 12:00 ang start eh ngayon 12:30 na kasi kulang na ang mga sponsors nila.
Ngayon halata natin lahat na may halos live commercials ang wowowie shows dahil hindi nila kayang i-load lahat ang mga sponsors ng wowowie pag-commercial break dahil nga sa dami ng sponsors sa shows.Kaya kahit oras ng wowowwie may live commercial tayong pinapanoood kasabay ng show di ba mga guys?
At saka unti-unti na nating napapansin ang pagkopya sa format ng eat bulaga sa wowowie ngayon,dahil napansin nila na boring ang eat bulaga,halos mapansin mo nang wowowie part2 nalang ang eat bulaga dahil kinopya na yata lahat ang style gimmick ng wowowie.At parang insecure na sila sa ABS-CBN noontime show ni Willie ngayon.Una laging bago ang mga opening songs nila at magaliong na ASF Dancers nila kumpara sa EB Dancers na matitigas ang katawan + SexBomb Dancers vs Ana Feliciano Dancers na ASF.Mula opening ng shows hanggang sa huli enjoy ka sa show ni Willie.
Palagay ko hindi sanay si Joey at Vic na magkaroon ng kalaban ang show nila kaya sobra ang sakit at nerbyos nila ng bigla sumikat ang wowowie kaya tititra nila si Willie,siguro takot na sila at may kalaban na sila at pwede ng bumagsak ang ang show nila na matagal ng pinagyayabang sa ere.

Eat Bulaga is an institution already, it may be down sometimes but will never fade away. Ganun talaga ang mga matatag, kaya mag maintain na hindi bumabagsak. Look at the ratings konti lang ang lamangan despite sobrang todo na ang Wowowie sa gimik at gastos kaya mataas ang singil sa kuryente. Samantalang ang Eat Bulaga relaks pa rin wholesome at its best at ang daming pina pa sikat. Real professional ang mga taga GMA7, me mga sideline sa pag direk and scriptwriting in other shows.
Malaking bagay sa akin ang mga ugali ng tao na nag ho hosts. Alam ko ang mga baho ng mga yan personally, therefore, i’ll stick to Eat Bulaga na nag papa ka totoo lagi.
Baka nakakalimutan niyo, idol ni Willie sila TVJ, but Eat Bulaga is not proud of it.

Hi Ms. Mktg expert, it seems that you’re the one who is angry. Please refrain from using Capital letters, ibig sabihin nyan, ikaw ang galit hindi mga GMA 7 fans. Anyway, on management and mktg point of view, GMA7 has the edge over ABS-CBN in terms of income and efficiency. Look at the manpower cost, production cost and operational cost, masyadong malaki ang gatos ng ABS-CBN samantalang ang audience impact almost the same but GMA7 has a slight edge. GMA7 is a good training ground and stepping stone of beginners, pag na hinog na sila, ABS-CBN will double or triple their offer sheets in expense of high Meralco billings. Angel Locsin is so expensive compared to Mariane Rivera pero sobrang layo na ng agwat ng rating ni MR kay AL.
Star Struck na ginaya ng ABS-CBN is a very good managment & mktg tool, you know why? It is very economical because you can create an instant superstar with less expenses and an immediate signing contract na hindi milyun-milyun ang presyo na binibigay ng ABS-CBN na babawiin na lang sa electric bill.
In other words, GMA7 uses pure talent with credibility and integrity to get them going while ABS-CBN uses pure money to get them going i.e. prizes, double or triple talent fees (without these they cannot compete with GMA7).

Well said… I suggest marketng & ad agent expert regine to just apply sa abs-cbn, baka dun pwede marketing expertise mo… leave GMA7 alone, save your blah-blahs for abs-cbn, sila bigyan mo ng advise… in fairness, one of the few persons i admire from abs is ms gina lopez… this is not actually a matter of kampihan eh… each to his/her own taste, standard and principio di ba… and most GMA7 viewers I believe have higher and quality sense of three mentioned factors… kaya nga we opted for GMA7… let’s think before we talk…

I don’t see any point that GMA7 is madaya. although I watch both channels but 80% GMA7, 10% ABS-CBN and 20% other channels. Figures show GMA7 has been always on top and they usually wins more international competition than ABS-CBN. GMA7 doesn’t have the capacity to do pandadaya probably more on ABS-CBN becoz Wowowi has been involved many times in such unlikely situations to name a few of them: Ultra incident by spreading false information, the game show did by Willie doon sa box, I don’t know remember that game becoz I don’t watch wowowee but I saw it in the YouTube and the Ferrari bought by Willie, cheating the BIR by not paying the correct taxes. He cheat the Filipinos like cheating his women.

Fans of ABS-CBN are accusing GMA7 without basis at all. Unlike GMA7 fans, merong explanaition. Sasabihin niyo sa ABS-CBN, “the best,” EB is “boring” we simply respect that because you are an ABS-CBN fan. But saying GMA7 madaya without basis at all, that is realy unfair. Look at the above basis of San Isidro above, meron pinag babatayan. And look at personal life of Willie, hindi mo siya pag kakatiwalaan sa tunay na buhay, ilang ang mga babae niyan at immoral yan. Si Joey de Leon has been loyal to Aileen Macapagal and si Ate Daria Ramirez, mother of Keempee, walang sinasabi against Joey at lagi niyo ko pang nakikita nanonood ng Wow Mali, Eat Bulaga at Mel n Joey.

correct, yung dagdag bayad sa singil sa kuryente, napunta lang sa ABS-CBN. Karamihan ng negosyo ng mga Lopez negative income except Meralco. SkyCable, Maxim magazine, etc…. pag aari nila, inspite of these, bakit hindi nila kaya pabagsakin at unahan ang GMA7? ABSCBN ang meron talagang capacity to manipulate ratings kasi dami nilang means at mga tao. There must be something wrong with their management and approach. They just lose a bid to get PBA against Solar Sports and Manny Pacquiao’s contract against GMA7, paano gusto ng ABS-CBN sila lagi ang nasusunod sa contrata at studio 23 pa ang mag televise. Biro mo, gusto nila pag laruin ang PBA ng alas 8 ng umaga tuwing linggo, sacrifice mo ang pag punta sa church ng mga fans at players, PBA will die a natural death.

Pati si Juday, ginamit nila sa Meralco. Kawawa naman si Juday na walang kinalaman sa commercial. Sinangkot na nga sa gulo, hindi pa pinrotektahan ng ABS-CBN. Ayan lilipat na siya sa GMA7 by July 2008. Pati lahat ng talents ni Alfie Lorenzo e lilipat niya na rin. Ang hilig kasi gumamit ng tao sa pamamagitan ng pera ang ABS-CBN.

Mr. jemasan para tama ang sinabi halata nga na unti-unti ng bumabagsak ang show ng bulaga,matigas ang katawan ng mga eb babes dancers nila at malayo sila husay ng asf dancers sa wowee.pero napansin ko rin na ginagaya nila ang ibang format ng show ni willie sa ibang aspeto tulad ng sasayaw muna ang dancer bago ikot ang roleta at meron naring batian portion kung minsan.Ang alam ko ang pagbagsak ng bulaga ay sa masamang ugali ni joey at vic sa pagbatikos sa mga naunang nooontime shows ng abs-cbn mula pa noon bago pa sa wowowee,kaya ngayon karma na ang dalawang mayabang,bagsak na talaga ang eat bulaga……………inggit na talaga si joey kay willie kasi nga si willie direct sa management ng abs-cbn at si joey at vic ay may boss sila sa eat bulga na bumibili ng oras sa shows at walang pakialam ang gma7 magement sa kanila kaya mababa ang sahod nila sa show ng eat bulaga.

Kayong mga eat bulaga fanatics tanggapin nalang ninyo na bagsak na talaga ang ratings ng eat bulaga sa overall.Bakit parang mahina ang survey ninyo?Ang logic ay sa dami ng commercials,pag marami ang product endorsers ang ibig sabihin mas madami ang may tiwala sa program na mas pinapanood ng maraming viewers allover the philippines.Alangan naman ilagay ng isang company ang product kung sa eat bulaga ng kaunti lang ang nanonood doon yan ang rason bakit sobra ang dami ng commercials sa wowowee,kaya kasama na sa show nila Pau Linament,Wow Magic Sing,Diabets,Vaseline Shampoo,Belo Beauty Product,Fitrum, Heartvit Vitamins at marami pang iba,bukod pa ang iba pag commercial break nila.
Pag nakita mong wala ng maraming binabaggit doon sa show ni Willie dyan mo lang malalaman na mahina ang shows nila.Iyan ang logic kung sino talaga ang malakas sa dalawang naglalabang noontime shows na dalawa sa pilipinas mga guys.Kaya humina ng tuluyan ang ratings ng eat bulaga ay nabawasan ang oras ng show nila,konti na commercials nila paulit-ulit na lang at walang bago na product endorsers,kaya bagsak ang ratings nila.At hindi na binabanggit na #1 sila sa noontime show kasi nabuko na sila ng mga viewers na unti-unti na palang bumabagsak ang eat bulaga.

Ay! sa wakas meron palang marunong mag analize ng tunay na ratings sa shows na dalawa,para tama ang sinabi mo tungkol sa commercials,napansin ko nga, kaya lang nakakinis din manood ng wowowee kung minsan biro mo katatapos pa lang ng commercials eh pag umpisa ni wowowee puro product naman ang babanggitin na naman sunod sunod na live endorsers talaga at kasama na talaga yata sa wowowee shows kaya wala na magawa,sikat na ang show ni Willie very funny kasi siya at di boring,sa eat bulaga okey naman din kaya lang kulang lang sa energy ang mga host nila,kasi naman kasi iba naman magpasahod ang abs-cbn2 sa employee sobrang taas compare to gma7 mababa,tulad nalang ni Willie Revillame vs Toto,VIc & Joey mas mataas pang di hamak ang sahod niya kaysa sa tatlong tao na kay tagal na sa show ng eat bulaga kaya nga inggit sila kay Wowowee.Kung sabagay empleyado kasi silang tatlo ng bumili lang oras ng eat bulaga sa gma7 management at di sila empleyado ng gma7 management di tulad ni Willie direct employee siya ng abs-cbn management kaya mataas ang sahod niya talaga.

Parang isang tao lang ang nag sasalita sa last four messages, iisa ang style, hehehe Paano niyo naman nalaman na mababa na ang commercial ng Eat Bulaga? Dalawa bang TV sabay ang pina panood niyo? Kilala ko ang mga background ng mga taong niyan, si Willie ang hindi mo pag kakatiwalaan sa tunay na buhay compare kay Joey at Vic, anong karma kaya ang sinasabi niyo? Ayusin muna ni Willie ang case niya sa asawa, sa illegal purcahse ng Ferrari, yung sa Ultra, mukhang pera nanaman ng ABS-CBN ang uma areglo nanaman na ebabawi na naman sa singil sa kuryente.
For all you know EB is picking up its campaign in the US, tumataas na ang rating nila gradually doon, style nila pang long term. ABS-CBN lang kasi ang nauna doon kaya na ka lamang sila. But now starting to shift to EB bcoz they miss the trio of Tito, Vic and Joey back in the Philippines.
Hindi pa nga tumatagal ang Wowowee, naka top rate lang ng mataas parang kala niyo sobrang taas, sobrang liit lang naman ang dipenrensiya sa EB, pero milyun milyun ang gina gastos para lang pilitin talunin ang EB na relaks pa rin.
Marami pa kaming ilalabas na baho ni Willie na hindi niyo pa alam, maniac na yan nung bata pa……………………

We’ll see about EB’s campaign… iGMA is not that strong compared to TFC. And why is iGMA taking so long to come to the states, and what do you mean that’s their “style” to be longterm? Most of my friends that are foreigners, and not Filipino, love Wowowee so much. Wowowee has better dancers not just trophy girls. And leave behind all of the hosts’ personal lives out of all of this chaos for both EB and Wowowee. The point is, who entertains and helps the Filipino people the best???? People take too much into account of what the point of a variety show is: the personal lives of the host, the stations fiscal issues, etc. In the states all of this crap is not considered, many of the hosts have crappy lives with their own families, the stations do not fight of who’s better, and let things happen by themselves, etc., but they still pull out a killer show that serves it’s function,to “entertain” it’s citizens.

Chino Hills might be right in many ways, of course with the assets and business network that ABS-CBN has, they have capability of doing so, be the first in their field. GMA7s long term success is reflective to what they are now, they started from rags to a high popping net income higher that ABS-CBN. and a new building. ABS-CBN spend too much to what they earn and being survived by the other business of the Lopezes. Don’t compare foreign televiewers from Filipinos, of course foreigner enjoy wowowee, bcoz in that show, wowowee reflects that foreigners are a higher breed of human being than Filipinos. About the dancers, that is purely a personal opinion, anybody can say who is better or best. Although EB started that concept.

Personal background is highly important to the integrity of your profession as well as the company you represent. Will you listen to a host who show himself very nice and loving care in front of the TV but behind the scenes, he was denied by his old friends, classmates, as well as his relatives becoz of inconsistency in his attitude and unlikely behavior. Will you listen to a pastor or priest who sermons about morality but has a current case of sexual harrassment? Willie has not changed a bit since younger days and continue to be a deception. While Joey and Vic, you may say negative things about them? That is history already and have changed significantly, never left their families.

I dissagree that personal background is not considered in the states, you have to consider that Filipinos are different from the Americans. Politicians and personalities with negative backgrounds in the US will always be at the losing end. Immorality living in the US leads to downfall of their careers and some ended in prisons. Here in the Philippines, Filipinos still elect criminals, hail celebrities with court cases and many children from different women, declare corrupts as heroes. And through entertainment and money talks, Filipinos can be deceived, that is the bad part.

There is no way that Wowowee reflects that foreigners are a higher being than it’s home country’s citizens. How dare you say that and how low of such a comment. Of course those foreigners are guests to the show and as a host country, you are suppose to treat them well and welcome them. Opulency is never the case and they give equal advantages to their own public, such as the prizes, the gift bags, of course in Hep,Hep, Hooray!, where they of course favor the typical struggling Filipino to win, etc. Wowowee makes imperative that the Filipinos are the “Stars” of the show and are the reason for the show. And yea of course the EB Babes started that concept, but the ASF dancers actually dance and they don’t yell and scream phrases. And they don’t do anymore of that screaming and pa cute, pa cute anymore, becasue they dance as a profession and for a living.
Yes you are correct of personal background, however, why are people still engaged to watch Willie and Wowowee inspite of all the things they hear? Most people, not only in the entertainment biz are all “mess ups” in their past, no doubt. They have overcome adversity and faced all the issues to the very end, and that is why many people want to continue to watch how that person won’t give up. I was not saying negative things about Vic and Joey. They are human correct, and they have made bad decisions in their own lives and have made mistakes, but you just don’t know it because that’s part of their secret and private lives. No matter what, everyone has their flaws, nobody’s perfect. You can’t expect someone to be perfect because that person’s life will be so monotonous.

Yea, I’m going to correct myself a little bit, but personal background is considered in the states, but for the wrong reasons and right reasons, just like in the Philippines, but that’s not totally true in some cases. Politicians such as Bush, Obama, Clinton, etc. all have had somewhat of a shady past, yet they are still where they are today as leaders of the U.S. Many people in court cases in the states have become instant celebrities depending on the type of interesting crime they committed. And some people have done things terribly bad and they simply go to jail. The Philippines may be corrupt for sure, but in the U.S. they are similar in those things you said, but on a less aggressive and radical scale. But since we’re focusing on the entertainment business, the U.S. is again less personal about people’s lives contrary to the Philippines where the media is intertwined with all aspects of someone’s personal life. But there are some cases and acceptions where the media in the US focus on a few main celebrities and bring them to their downfall or the contrary occurs and that celebrity will slowly become successful once again such as Britney Spears, etc. Personal background may or may not be considered in the U.S. and I guess in the Philippines, they are in a whole different ball game especially in politics. But in Willie’s case, it’s his own personal family life and nothing political such as corrupt killing or pure graft. Willie’s problems are not akin to the political corruption of the Philippines and should be compared to the problems of a typical human being who makes life mistakes. You are comparing different scales of issues here.

OK then, I apalogize if I have offended somebody about the foreigners but I admit that that is the impression of many including me and has to be corrected. Of course you knew that beforehand and has been talk of the town that Wowowee has been giving the impression that Fiipinos are easy to get when it comes to money. And definitely I don’t like that, I rather be called “poor” or “mahirap” rather than “mukhang mga pera.”
Of course willie has involved himself at a national level, do you remember the Ferrari case? He may be charged of a tax evasion or a charge of buying smuggled goods. Worth P25M car for just P9M, oh boy, thats a real cheat, a Ferrari F430 cheaper by P16M? You see, it do reflect on the cheating he did in his number game at Wowowee recently.
In fairness, I do watch some shows in ABS-CBN, like the Citizen Pinoy of Atty Gurfinkel and Ms. cheryl Cosim’s talk shows. I really love that hard working lady, a combined with beauty and brains.

You don’t understand the quote. It’s meant to mean that despite all the things he has faced no matter how negative or positive, he is still successful and content with what he does. You should extrapolate it more. Even Chula Vista justified a counterexample to what she even said. That no matter what, especially in the Philippines with it’s corrupt officials in national and local government, that the bad people will always be looked up to even with a bad background or not. It’s true that Willie had made mistakes, small and big, but hey, the best people in the world have made the largest of the mistakes in their lives too. So nobody’s perfect.

Let’s put it this way, I have no problems with ABS-CBN with regards to their talents, production and ratings. I accept that Wowowee is enjoying its slighly high ratings against EB and their other shows, but looking back to our own standards, I don’t judge by its cover, ika nga ni Melanie Marquez hindi sila mga books. Character or the contents is very important to me no matter how talented or good-looking the person is, I’m not easily deceived.

Take for example Bayani Agbayani, I was impressed with his humor until I saw him in the basketball court fuming mad against Richard Gomez for just a petty basketball incident and telling Richard “papatayin kita.” With Willie, there are a lot of things you don’t know about his character and has not renewed himself.

importante din ratings kasi isa yan sa kailangan para mas marami sponsors…ang mga hosts ng shows, whatever character they have “backstage”, importante talaga yung kung magaling sya maghost “onstage”… now, between the host of eb and wowee, ganito lang yan… who delivers better ba? ang hosts na puro pasigaw, minsan patili pa nga magannounce o ang marunong magmodulate? ang hosts na objective pumili ng contestants o ang hosts na “namimili” ng gustong isali sa games… whether or not wowee is enjoying a better rating than eb, isa lang yan eh… sino ba ang original? sino ba ang matagal na sa ere? a show stays, come hell or high waters, kasi maganda sya, ok sya,… simple, di ba… WAY TO GO EAT BULAGA! im not an avid fan… i just know eb talaga is better.

Noted pre. To me character on and off scenes is very important and I stand with that principles. I go for GMA7 because there are questionable characters and negative feedbacks on the people of ABS-CBN starting from the top management. Although both ends have negative speedback as what MaRcSf, nobody is perfect but I have to choose the lesser evil which is GMA7. But then again, I still watch some shows of ABS-CBN particularly Citizen Pinoy and Cheryl Cosim, beautiful and hard working lady. I like her alonside with Vicky Morales and Reah Santos.

sa ngayon talo talaga sa padamihan ng viewers ang eat bulaga,oldies ng masyado style ng shows nila,kita ninyo hindi na binabanggit na sila ang number1 everyday,kasi napahiya na sila kulang na ang mga product commercials nila walang bago.trying hard nalang si joey na palakasing ang show nila ni vic kaya lang bagsak na talaga,kaya nga inggit na inggit na sila ni vic kay willie ngayon.Sa sobrang yabang ng dalawa ayun bagsak ang eat bulag sa ratings,tanggapin nalang na talo na talaga kayo ng wowowee,palitan ninyo ang scripted ninyong shows gawin ninyong party style para masaya ang audience hindi yang may script lang.

OK we respect your observation. However, Eat Bulaga has its own audience i.e, the adults, the seniors and some young ones. These televiewers have been used to Eat Bulaga’s style of show and have been loyal since. While Wowowee no doubt, they attract the younger generation and those looking for something new even my 2 kids. We are divided at home during noontime, buti na lang maraming TV sa house. Anyway, anything can still happen since Wowowee hasn’t established yet its longevity if they can sustain its populality 5 yrs or 10, 15, 20? Eat Bulaga has done it and they are just watching on the sides, knowing TVJ, with never ending talents and gimiks. Iba pa rin ang mga veterano nagsimula sila sa walang pera. Wowowee is good at this time but it took ABSCBN billions of pesos bago nila naabutan ang EB, their talents are limited, hangang pasigaw at pa sexy lang beyond that wala na. Kelan kaya sila tatagal?

Sa ngayon medyo mahirap ng makahabol pa ang Eat Bulaga sa Wowowee ,dahil sa pagiging energetic and party style shows nila sa ABS-CBN2 noontime.Comparing the 2 shows Eat Bulaga becomes too boring to watch now,because of their old style show,but you can see that little by little they are copying the show of Willie Rewvillame of Wowowee style.Palagay ang dahilan ng pagbagsak ng Eat Bulaga ay marami na ang naiinis kay Vic at Joey sa sa paninira nila sa host ng Wowowee na si Wilie.Lumabas na naiinggit sila sa huli dahil biglang paglakas ng show ng ABS-CBN2.Dahil diyan humina ng tuluyan ang Eat Bulaga at nanging konti nalang ang share nila sa viewing public na hinawakan nila ng mahabang panahon.
Unang dahilan wala ng commercials na bago ang Eat Bulaga,kahapon napansin ko na pumasok na rin ang COKE sa live commercial nila yata sa games katulad ng Fitrum,Diabet,Pau Linament,Wow Magic Sing,Energo,Citrin,Heartvit and many more na wala ang Eat Bulaga.Ngayon medyo napapansin na rin na hindi na sinasabi ng Eat Bulaga na sila ang number 1 show ngayon na dati everyday yan naririnig natin sa voiceover nila,palagay medyo nahiya na sila dahil talagang nilamon na ng Wowowee ang ratings nilang hawak sa buong Pilipinas sa matagal na panahon,kaya ganyan nalang ang inggit ng dalawang host na sina Vic at Joey.Puro kasi scripted ang style nila sa show at walang bago and very boring na sa mga viewers.
Sa dancers nila medyo malayo ang agwat ng EB Babes of Eat Bulaga compare to ASF Dancers ng Wowowee,sobrang energretic ang ASF Dancers samantalang parang walang ganang sumayaw ang EB Babes Dancers sa GMA7 ang titigas ng mga katawan nila sa dancing,buti nalang marunong ng konti ngayon,dahil kinokopya na ang style ng Anna Santos Fediciano a.k.a. ASF Dancers,kaya ngayon unti-unting ginagaya ng Eat Bulaga ang Wowowee style party na kasama na ang audience,kaya lang wala rin iba ang style ni VIC at JOEY old model na at wala appeal sa modern viewers ng bagong generation.ni wala ngang balikbayan na nanood sa show nila samantalang sa Wowowee everyday ay marami.To think ang yayabang nila noon na sila ang no.1 show sa Pilipinas,pero ng mabuko hindi pala sila kilalang masyado sa ibang bansa ng mundo pautot lang pala yon,alisin na kasi ang scripted style show nila para naman mkahabol kayo sa makabagong panahon ngayon.

meron akong pinoy goods dito sa taiwan, ang laging request ng customers namin sa dream tv satellite namin wowowee, curious ako kaya nilipat ko ng wowowee, sa totoo lang nakagisnan ko ang eat blaga bata pa ako, tinalo nga nila ang student canteen nun, kasi nung panahon na iyon parang lumang style ang dating ng student canteen at parang bago naman sa paningin and EB, pero nung napanuod ko ang wowowee parang Deja Vu ang nangyari, yun nga lang eb naman ang pumalit sa student canteen. wala yan pinagkaiba sa pagkain, pag tinipid mo ang ingredients hindi maganda ang lasa. saka nung pnahong walang kumpitensya ang Eb, sila TVJ kung manamit minsan naka sandals nga lang o t-shirt minsan susulpot na lang ang isa sa host at biglang mawawala, ngayon mukhang natauhan yung tatlo dahil grand ang production nung kabila. ganyan lang ang buhay parang gulong minsan nasa itaas ka minsan nasa ibaba.

actually, eb fanatic ako… pero i watch wowowee for several times… at napansin ko, parang lahat ng mahihirap pinagkakatuwaan dun… parang ginagawa nilang katawa-tawa yung mga tao… na kahit ano ipapagawa nila dun sa tao para lang magka-pera.. tuloy parang lahat ng gustong sumali dun kailangan ng pera, hindi sila nagpunta dun para maging masaya.. and pansin ko lang hah, hindi na maganda yung labas kung yung tao na yung ginagawa nyong katatawanan… sige, if you were to join that game show, will you be able to be foolish in front of many people (maybe people around the world) just to earn money… duhh… hindi pa naman ganun ka-desperado lahat ng tao para magkapera… ginagawa nyong tamad ang mga tao…

Eat Bulaga is full of a person with an ego the size of Texas and makes fun and destroys the lives of grown women for fun without saying sorry….maybe that person in EB is gay and jealous, but to make a woman part of a cruel joke, how low can that get? and he didn’t say sorry and continues to bash……and continues to stir conflicts between 2 networks….Pinoy Idol is still cheap with no talent and that is all of GMA’s fault. Philippine Idol should go back to ABC-5 (TV 5) because they know how to run a show like that…….and of course PDA rocks!!!!!!!!!!Wowowee doesn’t intentionally laugh at the needy people, they laugh ‘with’ them, since they laugh at themselves too…….WOWOWEE # 1…wowowee kami! wowowee kami…ABS-CBN i love..

to all noontime show fanatics, i know everyone is entitled to its own opinion but its not a way of making peace to confront just who is the best of all.Lets just put in mind that those are being shown to give happiness to everyone and not to make us fight to who is the best of them.There’s a lot of things to focus on to be more successful rather than to boast things about EB and WOWOWEE.

Hay naku!ang hirap sa ating mga Pinoy,mga bagay na walang kwenta pinag aawayan pa. Kaya hindi umaasenso ang Pinas dahil sa ganyang bagay.Bakit hindi na lang natin ituon ang oras natin sa mas importanteng bagay kaysa mag-away kung ano mas maganda sa dalawang show na sinasabi nyo.Hindi tayo binigyan ng Diyos ng tamang pag-iisip para lang gamitin sa d kanais-nais na paraan. Be more productive using your own knowledge so as to be more successful……be a God fearing person…..

ABS-CBN fanatics
Eat Bulaga cannot be compared to Wowowee at this time, its just like comparing apples to oranges. Mag 25 years muna kayo Wowowee bago kayo mag yabang , kahit 10 lang. Lahat naman kinokopya niyo lang sa Eat Bulaga, take for example sa EB babes and sexbomb dancers, they are supplements to excitement. Nauna ang EB sa ganyang style, pabalik na nga ang EB, papunta pa lang ang Wawawii. New generation doesn’t know about this.
While Wowowee did so much sex exposure instead of pure talent. Mag survey kayo on the reason why they watch Wowowee kasi , “nakakalibug daw ang mga babae.” sorry for my language but its true. Eat Bulaga is more on talent not to sex oriented show like Wowowee.
In general, yung kaartehan at ugaling mga walang modo ng mga kabataan ngayon, kopyang kopyang ang mga talents ng ABS-CBN, kaya kailangan pasara na yan for giving bad example pati Meralco na mataas mag singil dapat ma takeover na rin. pati water supply nila na lasang canal.
BTW: hindi pwede ma ingit si TVJ kay Willie, kasi wala pa naman siyang ipagmamalake. TVJs are TV hosts, composers, directors, scriptwriters, actors, musicians, producers, businessmen.. etc. Drummer lang at maniac si Willie, ang dami pa niyang dadaanan na hindi niya kaya para abutan sila. And how do you know na wala ng commerical ang EB, sa kabilang channel naman kayo nanood? Kilalanin niyo si Willie in person at baka bigla kayong mag shift to EB. Tingnan ko lang because I know this guy.

pano nasabi nanggagaya ng format eat bulaga sa wowowee e wala pang wowowee may eat bulaga na… sino ba nauna? eat bulaga… sino original? eat bulaga… yung mga ginagawa now ng wowowee na akala nio bago dati nang ginagawa ng eat bulaga… ilan na ba nakatapat ng eat bulaga before wowowee… gising mga kapatid… and tvj maybe old… pero may pinagkatandaan sila… eh si willie, tumatanda na at lahat may pinagkakatandaan ba? nothing personal… merry christmas!

C willie marunong makisama at makisympathize sa mga tao. ndi lang nman c willie ngdadala sa wowowee kundi pti mga sbuscribers ne2. mga sexbomb dancers mukhang japayuki, di hamak mas ok ang asf dancers. Ano ba naman yan, Wowowee is alway running far 2nd to Eat Bulaga…..Pansinin niyo na ang realidad, marami ng naaasar key Willie sa ka OA yan niya, ika nga ni Joey kailangan ng lagyan ng tubig ang mga mata niya para kunwari umiiyak. Hindi kaya tibagin ang isang pader na kagaya ng Eat Bulaga. Talon talon lang sa pader ang kaya gawin ng Wowowee, kaso pandak nga pala si Willie..

Just think about this. Why WOWOWEE has more World Tour than Eat Bulaga, simply because its MOST WATCHED. Traveling outside the Philippines and bringing your stuff is not cheap (very expensive) why they can afford, it’s because a lot of sponsors, why they get so many sponsors, simply because its TOP RATED.
WOWOWEE IS # 1 !!!

Do you have any figures to prove that Wowowee has more world tours than EB? Papunta pa lang ang Wowowee pabalik na ang EB. Wowowee needs a lot of sponsors because their mother company, ABS-CBN is in negative income. Willy R. is earning P3.5M a month, and aside from those very expensive production nos. it doesn’t give too much impact to bring down EB. One pull-out of sponsor for Wowowee will make them suffer, kailangan nila kumayod ng husto, hindi pa sila stable kagaya nang EB ika nga. ABS-CBN spent more than a P100B already in battling out EB since the APO days pa.
I have figures FYI ending Dec. 2008. EB is the no. 1 overall TV show, Wowowee is rank No. 21, FHM magazine released it recently. Forbes Magazine released that 3 GMA network executives, Gozon, Duavit and Jimenez are the among the Filipino Billionaires, sa ABS-CBN si Oscar Lopez lang ang lumabas. With these figures it doesn’t follow Wowowee is toprated. Mukang paliit ng paliit ata ang studio ng Wowowee ha? Ayaw e zoom ang camera para hindi makita yung pare parehong mukha ng audience everyday, while EB ang laki na, kulang ang large zoom ng camera at laing maraming new visitors.

kahit kailan, ako ay kapuso. Kahit pa ang yaman ng abs o generous cla pero ang yabang tlga. Buti pa GMA simple pero barkadahan ang relationship ninyo. Hwag nalang i-publish bsta gsto ko lang malaman ninyo na KAPUSO AKO…………………

id say wowowee is better ’cause its ALWAYS happy and never gets boring
they change many things like their games and songs so their more
entertaining than eat bulaga.. i agree with some of you, eat bulaga makes me fall
asleep… but atleast they make people happy still… eat bulaga is good but wowowee
is just simply better..

ako eat bulaga pa rin ako. kahit andito na ako sa singapore, pinapanood ko pa rin show ng eat bulaga sa pinoy channel. May tfc kami and wowowee napapanood ko. kulang lang kasi sa breeding si willie and feeling and sobrang gwapo. Nananalo lang naman sa masa ang tao dahil pang masa nga. alam naman natin na mas marami mahihirap sa pinas. ang ginagawa ng wowowee is pinapainan nila ng pera para madami manood and tumaas ang ratings. isa lang ang masasabi ko, ang nanood ng wowowe mukhang pera. hehe. mas mahalaga pa rin ang values ng show. si willie kasi may pagkamanyak, ang mga green jokes niya halata na may malisya. EAT BULAGA PA RIN AKO!!! pinahinog na ng panahon. gusto ninyo masaya na programa gaya wowowee at puro problema pasan ninyo cguro, ok lang yan. basta sana magbago na si willie sa style niya na host na prangka at walang modo. adios…

pahabol pa pala. ang noontime show is pambuong pamilya, hindi parang beerhouse. halos lumuwa tinatago ng mga babae dian sa wowowee. d naman nakakatuwa sumayaw at halata man na napilitan lang mga girls at hirap kumita ng pera. pag nagsalita na, ayon, halatang kailanagn nga ng pera. hahaha

to you ghez. d ako green minded. mapag obserba lang ako bilang manonood. for your info din pala, may mga bata na advance ang utak kaya wag ka pasiguro na inosente mga bata. d po bata ang magsasabi na masaya pinanonood at mababaw lang kaligayahan ng mga bata at madali guyuin. dahil if nakikita nila na masaya ang show, kala nila totoo nga na masaya. point of view ng matanda pa rin ang makakapagsabi if masasaya ang pinapanood dahil lubos natin naiintindihan ang palabas. if pamabata po ang pinapanood ng anak niyo, dapat sesame street na lang or iba pa show na pambata na may aral. sa tingin ko, d pambata ang wowowee. baka matuto pa ang anak ninyo na mandaya gaya ginawa ni willie.
