Eddie Villanueva may run for president in 2010
Evangelist Eduardo “Eddie” Villanueva of the Jesus Is Lord (JIL) Movement said he will run in the 2010 presidential elections depending on their network and political machinery.

“I have to be true to you. Before I entertain that idea, show [me] first that Bangon has nationwide, reasonable machinery and pray to God [for] people to have the consensus to fight for genuine change. That was my answer to them.” said Villanueva.
Asked who will be his possible running mate, Villanueva said they are looking at Pampanga Governor Eduardo Panlilio to institute genuine reform in the country if the JIL leader eventually decides to run in the 2010 presidential race.

I will definitely support and vote for Bro. Eddie Villanueva if he runs again in 2010. it is the only for righteousness and transformation to triumph. if to choose among villar, roxas, fernando, legarda, etc. I would choose the non traditional leader but has the capacity and intellect to run the country and that is Bro. Eddie.
I also call for a Bro. Eddie-Among Ed tandem in 2010.
Babangon ang Pilipinas!

lakas talaga tama ni Eddie boy…. kita naman dami na loko. y is there a need for eddie and his JIL ministry para umasinso like what those dudes stated above….there is no logic to that. the far more riches people dont belong to ministry.
October 13th, 2008 at 12:47 pm
religion is very expensive nowadays like if you belong to some ministry automatically 10% of your salary will go to them, thats really tempting to some people. that makes “religion the most lucrative business of all time”.
October 26th, 2008 at 10:13 pm
I would like to comment on statement above that says “AUTOMATICALLY 10% of your salary will go to them” - I belong to a full gospel church like JIL and I would say that “automatically” is absolutely inaccurate statement. While giving “10%” to church is being observed by faithful christians who observed biblical principles of “tithing” consistent with Malakai 3:10 of the Holy Bible, this is absolutely “optional” for the believers. Optional in the sense that no body is going to force you nor audit you on your faithfulness in your giving. Additionally, as far as I know and as I have observed with most full gospel christian churches, pastors have no access with the church financials. Finance matters are being handled by non-pastor member of the congregation. Also it is common among full gospel churches to release an audited financial statement to the congregation and this statement is typically open to everyone in the general membership for questioning or scrutiny if there are doubts. I’m almost certain JIL is doing this practice.
May the Lord bless our country the Philippines. I love my country and I love my fellow Filipinos. And I know God will count this as my love for Him.
October 29th, 2008 at 6:11 pm
its true about “tithing”, ako witness talaga ako sa mga ganyan, hindi ka nga pinupwersa pero yung ibang tao sa simbahan mo or sa ministry what ever you call it, talaga ang lakas ng loob mag parinig… wla daw access ang mga pastor? talaga? saan kaya niya na kuha pang bili nang kotse samantala ang trabaho nya ay isang messenger lang… though second hand nga lang pero magkano worth 180000 lang daw, sabi nya bigay nang dios… lokohin mo lolo mo… its all fake we are made to believe that they are sent by god, for what? to make money and make lies? mas worst ma ito s Eddie parang cya na ang Dios kong mag salita. mukhang nag maka awa pero laki nang ngiti sa likod nang camera…

kuya ED it nice to have passion to serve God and country but if the body of Christ will divide because of your candidacy for president that there different opinion, you have the highest of recognition as christian figure, then going to the level of secular ministry as the only hope of the nation, i think it is far more better to trust and pray to somebody a man who has also the vision and mission to elevate the dignity of our country without dividing the body of Christ because of their different views and opinion in respective rights. I pray you will consider this proposal. But if you have the heart to run and know that God is with you then do it so. No one can thwart the will of God even I and You, God bless the Philippines.

CHRIST DID NEVER SAID THAT TRUE PROPHETS (TEACHERS) WILL ARISE BUT WHAT HE SAID THAT BEWARE BECAUSE ON THE LAST DAYS FALSE PROPHETS WILL ARISE(MAT 24:11) . SO THIS MAN CLAIMED TO BE A PROPHET IN THESE NEW DAYS. YOU SEE ! WHAT A PERFECT APPLICATION TO THIS MAN! GOOD GOVERNANCE FOR THIS COUNTRY NEED A KIND OF PERSON WHO IS MORALLY GOOD AND DOCTRINALLY GOOD BUT NEVER TO A FALSE PROPHET LIKE THIS MAN. THERE IS NO PERSON IN HIS RIGHT MIND WHO WILL CONCLUDE THAT THE CHURCHES FOUNDED BY MEN (JUST LIKE HIS) CAN BE CONSIDERED GENUINE LIKE THAT FOUNDED BY CHRIST IN YEAR 33 AD. IF THIS PERSON WILL BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT THEN THIS COUNTRY WILL BE FILLED WITH LIES.
