F4’s Ken Zhu arrives in the Philippines
Ken Zhu, member of the wildly popular quartet F4 is now in the Philippines for a shoot of an independent film in Batanes.
Zhu, who starred in the “Meteor Garden” and “Meteor Rain” television series arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Wednesday morning. He is expected to board a private jet to Batanes Island. He will be working with Filipina actress Iza Calzado and actor Joem Bascon in a project that brings Taiwanese and Filipino talent together. Ken plays the role of a stranded fisherman from Taiwan. Iza will portray a Manila sales girl who relocates to Batanes, and is torn between Ken and an Ivatan portrayed by Joem.

though di ko pa nakikita si ken zhu in person, i’ve had watched naman ‘meteor garden’ and wako masay…so nice…ang ganda talaga… wish him a happy stay dito sa pilipinas and gud luck!

I think Meteor Garden is rating well if you have not known even until now. Gloria you better be careful in saying that F4 is not longer that famous as far as I know even in Taiwan and other countries you asked about F4 and they still know them and like them. I do like meteor and there is no point in saying bad stuff. I think there is no sense comparing Dark Angel to Iza because comparing the two Iza is beautiful and there is no need to used make up to just call here beautiful.

hey guys…tama na muna ang gulo. We should be happy that a famous actor is here to visit and shoot a movie in the Philippines. We should remember the we, Filipinos are hospitable.. If I could only go in Batanes and support them..phew!
Let’s not fight for the casts, let’s look forward if the movie’s plot is really good..
Anyway I also think that F4 is still as famous as they are back then.. nothing compares them…well that’s my opinion. I hope you’ll respect that… it’s good to hear that Ken is here, I hope the other 3 (F3) will follow..:)

Ken has seen better places, and worked under better conditions. He is still very popular here in Asia. If you trace his career you will realize that no other Filipino can boast of such popularity in Asia. Iza is a beautiful girl. Angel is too. Please fellow Filipinos, lets try to be kind for once. No need to resort to mudslinging. That attitutde my dear children is what makes this country what it is today.

I just came from Taiwan and sad to say, the famous F4 that were once idolized by many here in the Philippines are no longer popular there.
Taiwanese (esp. youngsters) are now crazy about Wang Lee Hom and Rain (Korea).

The importance of being famous is for someone to remain in the hearts of the people who once saw him as very popular(idolized him). It’s okay if the Taiwanese youngsters are now much interested to the two uprising actors. F4 still has a lot of fans here in the Philippines and to the other parts of the world. These days, though in Taiwan the young people are shouting for others name, I guess F4 will still remain in their hearts.
Who would definitely forget the smiles ,gorgeousness , kindness and everything that the F4 shared with us? I guess nobody, F4 will remain in our hearts and in our minds. They would still be as popular as they were , when they first showed up.
I guess life’s just like that. (Round and round and round it goes, where it stops nobody knows…) right? As far as I know, when somebody sees an Jerry, Ken, Vic and Vanness they would still scream, as loud as they’ve screamed before. :)
F4 way to go!!!!

i don’t care to the people na tutol sa F4, Ken & Iza… basta sobrang saya ko, kase for the first time i saw him na in their fan’s day… im not really a fan of Ken, kay Vic Zhou ako… pero sayang ang opportunity to see one of F4’s member… he’s so cute in person, kahit same lang sa t.v. pero iba pa rin sa personal…even Iza is so pretty, a filipina beauty talaga… thank’s to GMA kase sya ung napili aside sa ibang artist, maraming magaling sa Kapuso pero si Iza ang deserving na mapili… trailer pa lang, siguradong maganda na yung movie… I didn’t make it sa premiere kase nagkaubusan na raw ng ticket, maraming nagpa-reserve… pero I’ll make sure na sa regular show, present ako…
