The fare reduction from Php 7.50 to Php 7.00 (Metro Manila, Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog) will be carried over into 2007.
It was initially announced that the reduction will only be for 45 days starting today (Dec 11) as “pamasko” to the riding public. The LTRFB decided however that because of the continuous rollback in the prices of fuel commodities, it’s about time they cut the riding public some slack.
