Ferrari F430 catches fire along SLEX
A Ferrari F430 caught fire by the side of the South Luzon Expressway that runs between Manila and the Calabarzon region. Pictures after the jump.
It seems that the fire started from the engine bay. Some say that this particular car is still covered by a global warranty and will be replaced with a new one.

There are few things that are more horrible to see than a demolished or wrecked Ferrari. I am a driver for a company that does car transport. A few weeks ago I got dispatched to go pickup a 2008 F430 that had been damaged and was going in for repairs, my dispatcher told me it wasn’t running because it had been in an accident. When I got there the car looked fine and thought it was a miscommunication and as I walked around the car, I noticed the entire right side looked like it went through a blender. While I was loading the car onto the trailer I asked the guy what happened. To impress a girl he was dating, he let her drive, and a car changed lanes next to them while they were on the freeway and she got scared and ran it along the concrete barrier on the side of the road at about 80mph. WOW.
