Filipino full-length animation film, Urduja set for release
The first 100% Filipino full-length animation film titled “Urduja” is set to be released in theaters on June 18, 2008.
The film revolves around Urduja, daughter of tribe leader Lakanpati. Her legend dates back to the 13th or 14th century when much of the world was still undiscovered. A star-studded cast shared their voices for the major characters in the film, which includes Regine Velasquez, Cesar Montano, Eddie Garcia and Johnny Delgado, among others. It is produced by Tony Tuviera’s APT Entertainment and Isang Seventoon at Imaginary Friends Production.

I like the animation. Parang old-school Disney. Kaso pag pinanood ko yan at narinig ang boses ni Urduja, hindi ko maiiwasang maalala ang mukha ni Regine… Waaaaah…

TO KYRA: napaka immature naman, hindi mo na lang suportahan yun film, this movie isn’t about the voice behind the characters, it’s about the effort of the artists who created this film after a long time. maxado kayo naka focus sa boses….napaka nonsense naman…at napaka babaw. this is the first ever animation film ng philippines mas iisipin niyo pa yung ibang bagay. kung di man maganda yung graphics, okay lang this is the first time kaya for the next animations to be created…for sure mas maiimprove pa nila. what’s important is that we were able to create something as big as this, let’s just be happy and proud for those who gave their best to finish this movie….napaka hirap gumawa ng animation so i-appreciate naman natin.
