Filipino full-length animation film, Urduja set for release

The first 100% Filipino full-length animation film titled “Urduja” is set to be released in theaters on June 18, 2008.

The film revolves around Urduja, daughter of tribe leader Lakanpati. Her legend dates back to the 13th or 14th century when much of the world was still undiscovered. A star-studded cast shared their voices for the major characters in the film, which includes Regine Velasquez, Cesar Montano, Eddie Garcia and Johnny Delgado, among others. It is produced by Tony Tuviera’s APT Entertainment and Isang Seventoon at Imaginary Friends Production.
