GMA-7′s Luna Mystika rates high on pilot episode

GMA Network’s fantaserye, Luna Mystika debuted at number 2 last night, November 17, with a 38.9% rating based on AGB Nielsen Philippines’ overnight ratings in Mega Manila.

Luna Mystika is topbilled by Heart Evangelista and Mark Anthony Fernandez. The show’s first episode was pitted against ABS-CBN’s I Love Betty La Fea (Rank 8) and Dyosa (Rank 10).

Rounding up the Top 10 in TV Ratings were Gagambino at 1; La Lola at 3; Survivor Philippines, 4; 24 Oras, 5; TV Patrol World, 6; Pinoy Fear Factor, 7; and Ripley’s Believe it or Not at 9.

Although the 38.9% rating is considered high for a pilot episode, it reportedly fell short of GMA-7′s SVP for Entertainment TV Wilma Galvante’s target of 40-plus rating.
