GMA Network announced Monday that its net income rose 20 percent to P2.28 billion in the first 11 months of 2007 on the back of higher program ratings.
Gross revenues for the period went up 8 percent to P10.83 billion as November revenues breached the P1-billion mark. Production costs as of end-November rose 4 percent to P3.44 billion. GMA Network said it continues to lead in Mega Manila and total urban Luzon ratings, which has kept the momentum on the network channel’s side in the race for the nationwide ratings lead.
