GMA-7′s Whammy versus ABS-CBN’s Deal or No Deal

Whammy! is the newest game show of GMA 7 that will premiere on Monday, October 8 and will go head to head with ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.
It will replace the timeslot of Meteor Garden which will end on October 5. FremantleMedia, producer of American Idol, now owns the rights of Whammy! Several countries like the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Australia, Germany, and Turkey bought the rights to air a local version and now, GMA-7 bought the rights to air it here in the Philippines. Paolo Bediones and Rufa Mae Quinto will host the local version of Whammy!
