Goatse 2012 Olympics Logo

BBC held a competition asking viewers to send in alternatives to the London 2012 Olympics Logo.

One viewer, artist Sean Stayte, came up with an image he described as Britain’s “hands pulling together to reveal the Olympics.”

Unfortunately, the image (above) was a clever tribute to notorious sicko site Goatse.

For uninformed (or lucky) readers, Goatse was part of the URL of a site which showed a gentleman performing what one would have thought was a physically impossible and quite revolting two-handed contortion of his bottom. Though it is thankfully long gone, the image has been used by internet pranksters everywhere.

Too bad it’s not April Fools Day.
