The 6th Golden Screen Awards 2009 organized by the Entertainment Press Society, Inc. (Enpress) was held last April 30, at the Metro Bar in West Avenue, Quezon City.

Best Original Screenplay – Froilan Medina and Rody Vera (Boses)

Breakthrough Performance by an Actor – Julian Duque (Boses)

Best Editing – Orlean Joseph Tan (Boses)

Best Musical Score – Jourdan Petalver (Boses)

Best Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy – Fuchsia (APT Entertainment)

Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role-Musical or Comedy – Gloria Romero (Fuchsia)

Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role-Musical or Comedy – Eddie Garcia (Fuchsia)

Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role—Drama – Baron Geisler (Jay)

Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role—Drama, Musical or Comedy – Flor Salanga (Jay)

Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role—Drama, Musical or Comedy – John Estrada (Caregiver) and Coco Martin (Jay)

Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role—Drama – Mylene Dizon (100)

Breakthrough Performance by an Actress – KC Concepcion (For The First Time)

Best Sound – Mike Idioma (Ploning)

Best Editing – Danny Añonuevo (Ploning)

Gawad Lino Brocka Lifetime Achievement Award – Anita Linda

Best Production Design – Gerry Santos (Concerto)

Best Screenplay Adaptation – Paul Alexander Morales (Concerto)

Best Original Song – “Babae Ako” from the movie Urduja; written and composed by Joey de Leon and Ogie Alcasid, and performed by Regine Velasquez

Best Motion Picture—Animation – Urduja (APT Entertainment)

Best Visual Effects – Robert Quilao (Dayo)
