You can now plan your holidays for next year as early as today as President Aquino issued Proclamation No. 459 declaring the regular holidays, special (non-working) days, and special holiday (for all schools) for the year 2013.

There is also the observance of the Islamic holidays Eid’l Fitr and Eidul Adha (Section 2), whose exact dates are yet to be known. Those days will also be declared as holidays (walang pasok) next year. As far as long weekends are concerned, the Philippines will have at least 3 in 2013.
