Hostage Taking in Manila – Bus driver escapes, claims all hostages dead

The driver of the Hong Thai tourist bus held hostage by former Captain Rolando del Rosario Mendoza was able to escape and claimed that all the hostages are dead.

The police are still trying to confirm the driver’s claim. As of this posting, the assault team are now trying to force their way inside the bus. Shots are still being heard from inside the bus indicating that the hostage-taker is still alive.
