Ironman Philippines Triathlon 2009 this August
The stage is set for the Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines with more than 300 athletes from 20 countries joining the premiere triathlon event at the Camarines Sur Watersports Complex on August 23.
It is considered as one of the most challenging triathlon events in the world, the race course covering a total of 70.3 miles. The first 10 km of the run includes a view of rice paddies and the mountain, followed by a stretch along the national highway. The bike course is an out-and-back ride and participants will also swim in two man made lakes.
