President PNoy has issued Proclamation No. 571, s. 2013 declaring 13 May 2013, as a special public (non-working) holiday throughout the country. This is to enable the people to properly exercise their right of suffrage.

Suffrage is the right to vote in political elections. The proclamation was signed on April 23. So there you have it, the said day is a non-working holiday (walang pasok) and will be another long weekend. Vote Wisely. Please share this post to all your friends. Thanks.
