Janina San Miguel resigns as Bb. Pilipinas-World 2008
Controversial beauty queen Janina San Miguel has resigned as the Philippines’ official representative to the 2008 Miss World beauty pageant, Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BCPI) said late Monday.
San Miguel won the Binibining Pilipinas-World crown despite having difficulty answering in the Question and Answer portion in English.
A statement from the BPCI said San Miguel cited as reason for her decision the recent death of his grandfather.
“The untimely demise of her grandfather, among other personal reasons, has caused her undue stress, thus hindering her from fulfilling her duties for the said title,” the BPCI said.
1st Runner-Up Danielle Castaño will replace San Miguel as the official Philippine representative to the Ms. World 2008 pageant in Johannesburg.

face the fact that recent produces of the bpci have drastically decreased in terms of quality participants. the organization is not anymore capable of producing candidates of the same caliber compared to the heydays of diaz, moran, or even quigaman. it is slowly turning on to be become a carnival contest.

ei guys,, as the saying goes, do not judge the book by its cover! even the most intelligent person on earth pag humarap sa crowd at na tense you cannot really answer the question.. so sa mga tao na naninira kay janina pls lang humarap muna kayo sa salamin! im not saying na kampi ako kay janina im just trying to tell you esp. to those people trying to pull down janina its not of your damn business anymore kung mag back out xa o hindi! mind your own business guys!.. or much better…, study hard! baka mamaya mas maganda pa grades ni janina sa inyo!
