Janno Gibbs to host Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5?
Janno Gibbs will be the counterpart of Jeff Foxworthy as he is set to host the Philippine version of the US game show, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?.
GMA Network acquired rights to the game show from Fox Broadcasting Company and FremantleMedia which is a phenomenal hit in the United States. It premieres on October 27, 2007.

to gloria: may taste ang whammy. FYI mas maganda ang whammy. another is nakita mo na ba ang us version nito. Ang pamagat ng us version ay “Are you smarter than a 5th grader?” Maganda ang gaming procedures. Sa amerika nga ito ang no. 1 game show sa kanila. Dito sa pilipinas, ang no. 1 gameshow ay whammy, what more do we expect kung dumating ang philippine version nito na ang pamagat ay “Kakasa ka ba sa Grade 5?” siguro ito naman ang no. 1 gameshow sa [ilipinas. 1st week pa nga lang, nakakuha na ng matataas na ratings ang whammy.

I don’t like the Tagalog title of Are you Smarter then a Fifth Grader, although I like this US show a lot (brings back memories, let’s you think about what you learned before, etc.) Kakasa ka ba sa Grade 5? Grade 5 na ano? Sana, Fifth grader na lang din ang ginamit nila. Parang kulan ang title eh.

To Jhing: sapat na ang pamagat na “Kakasa ka ba sa Grade 5?, for your information, karamihan sa mga bansa na nakakaacquire ng franchise na “are you smarter than a 5th grader?” iniba rin ang pamagat, Ang bansa lang na kapareho ng pamagat sa USA ay ang bansang australia. For example, sa mga bansang UK at New Zealand, ang pamagat sa kanila ay “are you smarter than a 10 year old?”, sa bansang Argentina naman “¿Sabés que un chico de 5to grado?”, Sa Belgium “Slimmer Dan Een Kind Van 10?”, sa France”Êtes vous plus fort qu’un élève de 10 ans?”, Sa Hungary”Okosabb vagy mint egy 5-es?”, Sa Turkey “5′e Gidenden Akilli Misin?”. i like the show very much.it’s educational.i like the kids too,most esp.ram.i hope gma will get ram louis del mundo as their contract artist,magaling yung bata.sana mabasa ito ng mga big boss ng gma like mr.gozon,mr.duavit,ms.wilma,galvante and ms.anette gozon.

i like kakasa ka ba sa gr.5 show.i like ram louis del mundo.,magaling yung bata.sana gawin nyong contract star si ram sa gma.mabasa po sana ito ng mga big bosses ng gma.good luck sa show nyo at maextend po sana ang show dahil dito sa amin marami kayong natutulungan kasi maraming gustong sumali as studio contestant.

thanks po for posting my comment.how i wish that gma will give a new show for ram louis del mundo since matatapos na pala ang kakasa ka ba sa gr.5.napatawa po kami nung bata and asset din po siya sa show na kakasa ka ba sa gr.5.sana po through your column,maging way po kayo para iinform ang mga big bosses ng gma na wag basta mawawalan ng show ang bata kasi bukod sa matalino na,magaling pa magpatawa.sana magkaroon pa siya ng show sa gma network.

we really want to watch kakasa ka ba sa gr.5.esp.if ram louis del mudo is there(one of the classmate)i do hope the show will extend more weeks or months.coz we really like the kids esp.classmate ram.i hope gma network will give ram another show so we will see him on t.v.

congrats to gma for all the good shows esp.kakasa ka ba sa gr.5.i’ve heard matatapos na ang show na ito.sana kunin naman ni mr.janno gibbs si ram louis del mundo(ISA SA MGA CLASSMATES) sa kanyang bagong show kasi perfect ang combination nila,really natatawa kami.magaling talaga ang gma lahat ng show pinagiisipan.
