JC Tiuseco is the Survivor Philippines Winner

23-year-old college basketball player JC Tiuseco of San Sebastian was declared the winner or the 1st Pinoy Sole Survivor during the live telecast of “Survivor Philippines.”
Aside from the votes of the 8 members of the jury, the viewers’ text votes served as the 9th vote dubbed as “Boto ng Bayan” and it eliminated the possbility of a tie. JC got 93% of the text votes and he only needed 4 more to beat Rob Sy of Mandaluyong. He received a 3-million-peso check tax-free and earned the title of Pinoy Sole Survivor.
