Jobs in Libya

Libya is reportedly in need of more than 16,000 migrant workers.

The oil-rich country is experiencing a construction boom and has remained relatively unaffected by the global financial crisis. Job opportunities available are in the oil and gas sector, construction industry, and health sectors. Libya is also opening its tourism and medical sector to Filipinos.

There are also opportunities for OFWs in the hotel, oil and gas, and technical services sectors of Libya’s neighbors — Algeria, Chad, Malta, and Morocco.

It is really sad that Filipinos prefer to work abroad than serving their country simple because walang mapapala dito sa Pinas sa kakarampot na sahod mo. ‘Yung sahod mo is yun na rin yung expenses mo. Kadalasan eh kulang pa. ‘Wag na po tayo mangarap na ang Pilipinas naman ang mangailangan ng tao in the future. Hinding-hindi na mangyayari ‘yan. Kawawa naman ang bansang Pilipinas. I don’t want to be pessimist pero yun ang nagsusumigaw na katotohanan.
