Juan Manuel Marquez vs Rocky Juarez Bout cancelled
WBC super featherweight boxing champion Juan Manuel Marquez (47-3-1, 35 KOs) withdrew from his fight with Rocky Juarez (27-3, 19 KOs).
Marquez suffered a cut on his hand during training that got infected and swelled his hand up pretty bad. No word on it being rescheduled and the entire card — Kassim Ouma vs. Sergio Mora, Robert Guerrero vs. Martin Honorio and and Francisco Bojado vs. Steve Forbes were canceled as well. Marquez was supposed to make the first defense of the 130-pound championship he won in March by outpointing Marco Antonio Barrera.
