Judy Ann Santos is Ploning
Judy Ann Santos ventures into movie production as she co-produces and stars in the movie Ploning.
Ploning was shot entirely in the beautiful and quite town Cuyo, Palawan, which took more than two months to make. The cast includes Gina Pareno, Mylene Dizon, Meryl Soriano, Ces Quesada, Tony Mabesa, Crispin Pineda, Eugene Domingo, Tessie Tomas, Ketchup Eusebio, Ronnie Lazaro, Joel Torre, Beth Tamayo, Jojit Lorenzo, Spanky Manikan, and introducing Cedric Amit, Lucas Agustin, Ogoy Agustin and Bodjong Fernandez. It will be shown in theaters April 30.

i’ve seen the trailer.
ang ganda ng cinematography, ang ganda pala ng cuyo palawan.
ang themesong ay very moving and haunting.
kaka-iba ang movie na ito.

sometimes ang kagandahan ng isang movie ay hindi nag bi base sa kita lang… kc minsan it involves huge promotions… indi film kc ito kaya i doubt kung kikita ito ng malaki..pero i’ve seen the trailer and it was good..kc iba talaga si judy an and at iba pa nyang ksama like gena pareno!

Hehehehe tingnan natin sa April 30 kung sino sa mga movies ang mangunguna at mas panonoorin ng tao. Robin-AiAi? Judy Ann Santos? o Aga-Anne?……….
Wala naman sigurong dayaan yan ang pag-announce niyan kasi mga cinema na ang nagbibilang. Hehehehe malalaman kung sino talaga ang sikat. Let’s watch na lang.
Goodluck na lang pala kay Juday…… dalawang malakas na movie makakabangga niya.

i hope gma would not use this issue “the same play date with Aga-Anne movie”
to let judy ann transfer to their station! i read this column in PEP regarding her reactions towards this issue and i think she shouldnt think that abs is not supporting her! cant she see that abs has always been supporting her eversince… this is really what it should be in business and in showbiz industry… judy ann should not be threatened also because its not in her hands of who’s gonna watch the movie…its for the people to judge..so please gma stop using this issue to bait her!

if she’s gonna transfer to gma…i dont think she’s going to be the same super star as what she is in abs…and i also hope that alfie would stop those bad write ups to abs coz this is what makes it so blury! why cant Alfie stop the crap afterall he’s receiving a lot from abs!

I agree with what Mickey said. I just read from tabloid yesterday that Judy air her sentiments over the non-support of ABS-CBN for her movie “Ploning”. It implies in the article na parang napag-isip-isip niya na daw niya atang lumipat sa GMA. She added that loyalty is not a measurement para makuha mo ang suporta na hinihingi mo or something to that effect.
After almost 2 decades niya sa ABS-CBN, I don’t think that ABS-CBN has not supported her in any way they can. ABS-CBN na din ang nagpasikat ng career niya. It just happened na nagkasabay lang ang movie between Ploning and Star Cinema’s When Love Begins, which sometimes happens in the movie industry.
Just think more than twice, Juday. I truly believe in you as an actress. You have a gone a long way. And ABS-CBN made you for that. Kapantay mo na ngayon sina Sharon Cuneta, Vilma Santos, Maricel Soriano and Claudine Barretto whose loyalty in ABS-CBN is really something.
Tignan mo na lang ang nangyari sa kaibigan mong si Jolina. Nasaan na sya? “Has been” na sya, di ba? Gusto mo rin bang maging ganoon din?

i watched the movie and left the moviehouse with so many questions. questions with life and love. the movie was SOOOO GOOOODDD!!! the cast were amazing and i didn’t expect that this indi film will have a very good cinematography and more, a wonderful script! KUDOS to Ms. Judy Ann Santos and the rest of the cast and production.
i also watched ‘when love begins” and i find the script of the movie very common. yes, the cast were great with their acting. but story wise, i’ll give PLONING a 5-star while 2.5-star for WHEN LOVE BEGINS.

I saw Ploning lastnyt…. ang ganda ng movie though ang konti ng nanunuod…. yan ang problema sa mga pinoy… hindi marunong tumangkilik ng magandang pelikula… still, congrats ms judy Ann Santos it was indeed a very good birthday gift to us viewers….
