Judy Ann Santos may face Congress for Meralco TV ad

Manila City district representative Bienvenido Abante, Jr. is looking at the possible violation of actress Judy Ann Santos of the Consumers Protection Act when she appeared in MERALCO’s (The Manila Electric Company) commercial justifying its systems loss charges to its consumers.
He already ordered the legal officers of the House Committee in Public information to investigate on the matter. Abante also pleaded to local celebrities to choose their endorsements wisely especially if it concerns the public’s welfare. The actress is currently in Amsterdam with her boyfriend, actor and TV host Ryan Agoncillo and some close friends.
