Kevin Cogill’s blog leaks Guns N’ Roses album “Chinese Democracy”

FBI agents arrested 27-year-old Kevin Cogill on Wednesday morning on suspicion of violating federal copyright laws when he allegedly posted on his music blog nine leaked songs from the unreleased Guns N’ Roses album, “Chinese Democracy.”

The songs were later removed. His bail was set at $10,000. The charge is a “felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than three years or, if the offense was committed for commercial advantage or private financial gain, for not more than five years.”
